Since the break, the Revolution are 1-2-0, beating Atlanta United at home, playing a scoreless draw with Toronto, and giving up a two goal lead in Montreal to draw, 2-2. In that draw with Montreal, New England won the expected goals battle 4.13 to 0.77. It wasn't even close, but somehow the hosts earned a point. The Revolution are currently third on the Eastern Conference table, sitting eight points behind Inter Miami and 10 behind Nashville, but only one ahead of the Chicago Fire.

Houston sits in fourth in the West, four points behind San Jose, but only five behind LAFC and Vancouver. Since the return, they gave up a one goal lead to draw with D.C. United at home, shutout Austin FC 3-0, then went on the road to Kansas City and shut out the hosts, winning 2-0. Overall, they are unbeaten in their last five MLS matches, and 3-1-1 in their L5 on the road.

Now, New England is 8-1-1 at home this season. Although Houston is red hot, I think the hosts are the right side here. However I'll pay the juice for some cushion in case we end up with a draw. My problem with the Dynamo, is they have not seen a competitive side in a while. For example, their last two shutout wins were over Austin and Sporting KC. Those two teams are at the very bottom of the Western Conference, both bottom three in the MLS overall. D.C. United is barely hanging on to a playoff position in the East.

Sure, Houston has wins over LAFC and Vancouver. But that was almost three months ago at this point. Now, you could make the same argument for the Revolution. Since the break, they've played three of the bottom four teams in the East, earning only five points. Yes, that's still good. But this afternoon they need to make sure they are fully focused on taking down one of the best in the West. Because of this, the draw no bet line is good enough for me.

Prediction: New England Wins 2-1 (+800)
