The MLS Season is back underway, so let's discuss some of our best bets for today, Saturday, March 9th, 2024.
We have 11 games throughout the day, and 3 on the slate for tomorrow, so let's find our spots!
MLS Saturday Best Bets
Minnesota United vs Orlando City SC

In two games in MLS play, Minnesota United has not been beaten yet. They drew 1-1 against Columbus at home, but on the road against Austin to open the season they snagged 3 points in a 2-1 victory.
I think the defense really comes to play on the road this evening in Orlando.
Orlando City got beat down by Miami 5-nil in their last match but played Montreal to a nil-nil draw at home to start the season. In their most recent game in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, they drew nil-nil at home with Tigres.
Orlando City has not scored this MLS season, but at home they have had some sound defense. Against Minnesota United, I think this game is played to a boring, low scoring bout, with both teams focusing on the defensive side of the ball.
Give me this one to stay under 2.5 for plus money.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs San Jose Earthquakes

The Whitecaps opened up their season with a 1-1 draw against Charlotte in their first game at home, but now they travel to San Jose to face the Earthquakes.
San Jose has lost both games to open the 2024 MLS Campaign. They went to Dallas and lost 2-1 then hosted the LA Galaxy losing 3-1 at home. Vancouver will not be as tough competition as they've seen this season, but they will have to bring their A-game to get the job done.
Ultimately I think this one stays under as well. After giving up multiple goals in both games, the Earthquakes will really try to tidy up their defense at home, and Vancouver will be fine with a boring game if they can escape with a point. I think the Whitecaps come out defensive being on the road against an Earthquakes team that has the firepower to produce scoring chances at will.
Give me the under 2.5 for plus money all day.

Los Angeles Galaxy vs Nashville SC
Bonus Pick: LA Galaxy/Nashville SC Under 2.5 (+114)
Another under on the pitch for you sickos on Sunday! Nashville SC's defense is a different animal at home, and with the attack of the Galaxy coming into town, I fully expect Nashville to possess and play very conservative soccer.
