No longer are John Terry and Wayne Rooney going head to head. Both teams have taken a huge step back since the early 2000s, and thus, this rivalry hasn't been quite exciting. However, that could all change today, as both teams should be fired up to give us a fantastic match today in the EPL.

João Felix has just one goal for Chelsea this season
The home team has been all over the place the last few matches. They are coming off a 5-2 home win to Leicester, but prior to that, lost to West Ham on the road and drew with Fenerbahce in the UEL. United certainly aren't playing their best soccer at the moment, but that could al change today. They are 14th in the Premier League standings and will certainly try to keep all 3 points at home today.
As for Chelsea, they've been a little better. This week they lost to Newcastle on the road in the Carabao Cup, 2-0. However prior to that they beat Newcastle at home in EPL play, and took down Panathinaikos in the UEFA Conference League. They seem to be hitting their stride, but they fail to show up in big games on the road. That needs to change today, as their next few games are much more difficult, and staying near the top of the EPL table could be a tough task.
Ultimately, when these two teams play, we see plenty of goals. They have had 3 straight meetings with at least 3 goals combined, and have put up 5+ in 2 of those matches as well. Neither team has been shutout in any of their last 5 games head to head, but all this talk of scoring is making me salivate to the under. We have an already high total at 3.5, and I could very easily see both teams playing a boring match tonight.
Get in and get out. All we need is 45 minutes of boring soccer and we will escape with a +155 winner. With Manchester United coming out for the first time under new management, I see this first half being a conservative trial run. Both teams should really use the first half to feel each other out, figure out what they may or may not be able to get away with, and they make halftime adjustments to win this thing in the second half.
I don't see Chelsea being overly aggressive offensively to start, especially being on the road. Things could get very ugly quickly if they let Manchester United net a quick one with this crowd. Therefore, I trust the Blues to focus on defense, especially early in the match, focusing fully on slowing down Marcus Rashford and company up top. While I will admit, I do like the full game under 3.5 at (-125), I understand an under doesn't move the needle for everyone. However this quick little 45 minute sweat should do just the trick!
