Our second UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal of the day is in England, as Liverpool hosts Paris Saint-Germain. The English side is trying to dig themselves out of a two goal aggregate deficit suffered on the road last week in France. Do we really think they can knock off the defending UCL Champions? PSG has been playing as good as anyone, and I don't see a world where Liverpool is able to overcome being down two goals, but let's tap in to our soccer expert's picks and find out what they are wagering on.

The first meeting was all PSG. They controlled over 74% of possession and won the corner kick battle 3-1. The hosts completely dominated the scoreboard and the stat sheet, getting more shots on frame than Liverpool took all game. PSG put a third of their shots on target, having six of their 18 find the frame, while Liverpool mustered up just three total shots, none of which where on target. It was utter domination from PSG, and now they are sitting pretty with a two goal lead.
Even at home, I do not trust Liverpool. This team is a corpse, and even though PSG might be a little extra conservative today, I do not see them losing by two or more, thus advancing them to the UCL Semifinals. At even money, I'll take the visitors to win this match with some push potential. There's no need for this French side to be overly aggressive, and in fact, I would think they come out extra defensive. The last thing they want to do is let Liverpool go up early and gain confidence and momentum. PSG will make sure that doesn't happen by limiting their scoring chances.
Sure, the hosts are coming off a massive win over Fulham at Anfield… but let's be honest. Fulham does not compare to Paris Saint-Germain. The French side are tearing up Ligue 1, and annihilating anyone who stands in their way in the UCL. They just beat Chelsea by three goals in each of their Champions League contests, and now face Liverpool with a two goal aggregate lead.
They did a great job of shutting down the Blues in both legs of the UCL Round of 16, and didn't let Liverpool find any offensive rhythm in the first leg. Again, even on the road, their back line should hold strong and keep the hosts off of the scoreboard completely. Give me PSG to win this second leg on the road, moving on to their third straight UEFA Champions League Semifinals.
