FIFA World Cup Qualifying Picks and Predictions – March 31

Tomas Soucek and Czechia are looking to get back to the World Cup for the first time since 2006
Again, all of these UEFA teams played last Thursday and won, while two of the teams involved in the Intercontinental Playoff Tournament advanced directly to the championship match. Regardless, today's rules are simple: Win and you're in to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Let's see who can pull it off.
Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Italy
Despite being on the road, the Italians are still -220 to win this match in regulation time. Plus, they are actually listed at -480 to advance to the "next round" and therefore qualify for the 2026 World Cup. I've got to side with the books on this one. I trust the Italians to get the job done.
However, I would be willing to pair their ML with the under 3.5 for a +109 same game parlay. Bosnia and Herzegovina have allowed just eight goals during their qualifiers, and even against Italy they should hold strong enough for it to stay low scoring.
Czechia vs. Denmark
If you read by article last week, you'd know I am all over Czechia in this spot. Not only do they get to play at home, but Patrik Schick is playing out of his mind, scoring five goals in seven World Cup Qualifying matches. I will be playing Czechia +0.5 (-124) and betting on them to at least keep this thing tied through 90 minutes.
If they force a 90 minute draw, our bet will be settled as a winner, and we can enjoy extra time sweat free. If you have slightly bigger stones, go ahead and play Czechia +290, or even to advance at +145.
Kosovo vs. Turkey
Backing Turkey on the moneyline is the easiest bet I've made in my life. Despite being on the road, Turkey is a top 25 team in the world, playing Kosovo who are No. 78. I'm not sure why you can get the Turkish side with a plus sign next to them, but I'll say thank you and move on.

Sweden has missed three of the last four World Cup tournaments. Can they finally qualify with a win today?
Sweden vs. Poland
Last week, I told you Poland was going to win this pathway, even though the Swedes could give them a run for their money. While I am not taking anything in this match, I certainly lean with the Polish side. Sweden simply has not been producing very many goals recently, and I'm not sure Viktor Gyökeres will be able to do it all by himself.
Poland on the double chance line at -128 would be my pick in this match.
Congo DR vs. Jamaica
Congo was already in the championship match of this tournament while Jamaica had to go through New Caledonia. They handled business and scored in the 18′ minute to move on, and I think they can give the African side a run for their money. Congo is a heavy favorite in this match, which is why I think we are getting great value for Jamaica on the double chance line.
If you read my piece last week, you would know I liked the Reggae Boyz to come out of this tournament anyways. Now we are getting them at -102 just to earn a draw in the first 90 minutes. Don't be afraid to sprinkle on them to advance to the World Cup at +205 as well.
Iraq vs. Bolivia
We are taking Iraq on the draw no bet line at -122 in this contest against Bolivia. Iraq was my pick from the start of this tournament, and after watching Bolivia mess around with Suriname in the semifinals, I do not have faith in that squad. They conceded in the 48′ minute, and needed a penalty kick to set them over the top after tying things up.
Given the quick turn around, and the fact that Iraq is ranked much higher in the world rankings than either of these teams, I will back the Iraqi side to qualify for the 2026 World Cup with a win today. Iraq is No. 59 in the world, Bolivia is No. 78, and they just had trouble with Suriname who ranks No. 126.
