EPL
Welcome to week 3 of the English Premier league. There's nothing I love more than morning soccer on the weekends, and we have it back. Let's start with the first game of the slate, Chelsea vs. Fulham.
Chelsea is 1-1-0 to start the season and fourth in the table. They come into this game off a dominating 5-1 win over West Ham United last week. Newcomer Joao Pedro, who came over from Brighton & Hove Albion, had a great game with 2 goals and an assist.
There is some other new fire power coming to this offense. Chelsea just signed Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United. He brings a big piece of offense and has scored 13 goals over the last 2 EPL seasons. Cole Palmer has to be a happy camper.
The home crowd will be roaring to go. They had to watch a 0-0 in the season opener vs. Brighton, but I think we see a much different game. The Chelsea defense has been great, and I expect them to continue this tight play.

Fulham looks to get their first win of the season on the road

Fulham's Sasa Lukic in stride with Chelsea's Cole Palmer.
Fulham has started the season 0-2-0 with both games ending in 1-1 draws. First game was against Brighton and the next was against Manchester United. They are coming off a win in the League Cup vs. Bristol City.
Scoring has been a problem for them to start the season. Only have two total goals through two games is obviously not ideal. Alex Iwobi and Rodrigo Muniz both have three shots a piece but haven't found the back of the net.
Considering they've only allowed one goal in each game, the defense and goal tending is holding it down. They do need to watch for penalties as they rank 15th in fouls. If the offense can get cooking, this team would have a chance.
Let's check out the odds and get into the Chelsea vs. Fulham picks.

It's super juicy, but there's no reason to get greedy and take the -1. Give me Chelsea on the moneyline to win this game at home. They're coming off such a high scoring game, that I could see them winning this 1-0 or 2-1.
Expect Garnacho to be involved right away. Combined with Pedro and Palmer, this offense could really burn Fulham if they get going. Garnacho hasn't played a game yet and Palmer still hasn't scored, so take that for what it's worth.
I like the over 2.5 goals for -144 for this game. Chelsea should pick up right where they left off from last game and now at home. I think they could clear this line on their own even though we're paying the juice man again.
To get a plus money play, give me Joao Pedro to score for +140. This guy is unreal and was such a big part of Brighton this year. Coming off a huge game, I think we see an early goal from him to get things started.
