Brighton vs Aston Villa Best Bets

I think we see a low scoring game today. Brighton is at home and will need to defend themselves from the Aston Villa onslaught. However, the visitors may have their focus elsewhere than this match.

Aston Villa currently sits in 9th on the EPL table while Brighton is 7th, however, only two points separate the squads. But Aston Villa have bigger fish to fry the rest of this season. They are in the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals and also the FA Cup Semifinals, two big chances at hardware. They go to Paris to face PSG on Wednesday, after hosting Nottingham Forest on Saturday. There is a lot on Villa's plate, and I think they could get caught sleeping here.

Brighton is no longer competing in the FA Cup after losing in the Quarterfinals to Nottingham Forest, so their full focus will be on gaining as many points as possible the rest of the EPL season. I slightly lean with them to win this match, but instead I'll take the under as I see them using their defense to keep it extremely low scoring.

Liverpool vs Everton Best Bets

We lost this bet with Arsenal yesterday as they conceded in the 90+4. However we are going right back to it with Liverpool at Anfield today. They've basically already wrapped up the EPL Title, but with no other competitions to play for, they can fully focus on demolishing teams down the stretch. Especially ones who have gotten the best of them the past two head to head meetings.

These teams played at Goodison Park on February 15th, where Everton found a goal in the 90'+8′ to tie the game and earn a point. In April of last year, Everton beat Liverpool at home, 2-nil. Now the last two times they've played at Anfield, Liverpool has come out n top 2-nil, and I don't see much changing this time around.

The home team is in a slight "revenge spot" with nothing else to play for other than solidifying their Premier League title. Everton has played to three straight 1-1 draws, as their offense hasn't really been firing all season. Give me Liverpool to dominate at home and win this one in shutout fashion.

Prediction: Liverpool Wins 2-0 (+600)
