The Major Series of Poker: The Tour (MSPT) announced a major partnership with Seminole Hard Rock to bring the 2026 Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open (RRPO) to life. 

This collaboration links MSPT's Season 17 with one of South Florida's most enduring poker festivals. It also sets a new standard for live tournament connectivity and opportunity. The pact promises big action, deep fields, and Main Event winners from MSPT will earn seats into the 2026 RRPO.

MSPT and Seminole Hard Rock Partner for 2026 RRPO

MSPT will send every Main Event champion in 2026 directly into the RRPO at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. This is the first time MSPT and Seminole Hard Rock have teamed up on such a large scale. 

The RRPO festival runs from Nov. 18 through Dec. 2, 2026. Its marquee MSPT Championship event offers 1.5X Player of the Year points. The event also features a $3,500 buy-in and at least a $2 million guaranteed prize pool. 

Champions will transition from MSPT stops across the country to a Florida poker festival that rivals the best. The move underscores poker's rising live profile even as players engage with US online poker sites for qualifiers and strategy tools. 

The MSPT Season 17 schedule includes dozens of events from Las Vegas to Wisconsin, and more. Each stop offers players the chance to earn a seat into the RRPO showdown. MSPT President Bryan Mileski commented about their team up with Seminole Hard Rock for the 2026 RRPO,

"It's an honor to partner with Seminole Hard Rock for what is likely to be among the biggest poker events of the year." 

The full RRPO schedule will be revealed at a later date, with details expected to attract both pros and amateurs alike. 

More importantly, this alliance also taps into the synergy between live poker festivals and the broader ecosystem, which includes US online poker sites that feed players into major live events. 

The new structure enhances MSPT's competitive appeal and Seminole Hard Rock's standing as a premier poker destination.

History of the Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open Through the Years

The RRPO has a long legacy in the poker world, dating back to its introduction at the Seminole Hard Rock in 2013. For many years it operated under the World Poker Tour umbrella and attracted some of the game's best players. In recent editions, players battled deep fields, with prizes swelling into the millions. 

Notable champions include Kevin Nee, who captured the WPT RRPO Championship in 2025 with more than $600,000 in winnings. Other past winners include Dylan Smith, who topped the RRPO field in 2024, and Istvan Briski, who won in 2023. These champions carved their names into RRPO history long before MSPT's involvement.
