Kristen Foxen Outlasts Elite Field to Secure Event #4 Title

The $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em event attracted 66 entries at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Foxen entered the final table with a significant chip lead and never looked back. She faced fierce competition from several high-stakes regulars throughout the afternoon.

Early in the day, Foxen maintained pressure on her opponents with aggressive play. She watched as Brandon Wilson and Michael Rossitto fell in sixth and fifth place. Brock Wilson followed them to the rail in fourth place after a tough battle. 

Foxen eventually eliminated Sam Soverel in third place to set up the final duel. Her strategic approach allowed her to dictate the pace of the entire final table.

The tournament concluded with a high-intensity heads-up match against Jeremy Ausmus. Both players traded chips early in the confrontation. However, Foxen eventually found a massive spot to end the tournament.

In the final hand, Foxen moved all-in with pocket sixes. Ausmus quickly called with pocket nines, putting Foxen at a statistical disadvantage. Fortunately for the Canadian pro, the flop delivered a six to give her a set. The turn and river brought no help for Ausmus. Consequently, Foxen secured the victory and the $198,000 top prize. 

After the win, Foxen described the experience as a smooth and rewarding run. She admitted the "Golden Eagle" trophy served as a major source of motivation.
