Brock Wilson continued his outstanding 2026 campaign by winning Event #2 of the PokerGO Tour (PGT) Sprint series. He defeated Martin Zamani in the $5,300 No-Limit Hold'em tournament, collecting $110,600 for first place.

The victory marked Wilson's fifth PGT title of the season and strengthened his position among the circuit's leading players.

The tournament attracted 79 entries and generated a $395,000 prize pool. Although Zamani controlled much of the final table, Wilson produced an impressive heads-up comeback to secure another trophy.

Meanwhile, the result further tightened the competition near the top of the 2026 PGT leaderboard.

Brock Wilson Overcomes Zamani to Win Event #2

Zamani entered the final table with a strong chip position and maintained his advantage through several eliminations. He eventually reached three-handed play alongside Wilson and Jesse Lonis. Zamani then eliminated both opponents to establish a substantial lead entering heads-up action.

However, Wilson refused to surrender despite facing an approximately 5:1 chip disadvantage. Two important double-ups helped him recover, including a hand where his full house defeated Zamani's smaller full house.

Wilson subsequently doubled again when his ace-seven held against Zamani's jack-nine. Those hands shifted the momentum and gave Wilson an opportunity to complete his comeback.

The decisive hand saw Zamani move all-in with A♠3♠. Wilson called with A♣K♠, putting himself in a commanding position. The board ran K♣ 9♥ 8♣ 10♥ Q♦, giving Wilson a pair of kings and the winning hand.

Consequently, Zamani finished second for $71,100. The defeat also ended his unbeaten record in heads-up live tournament play.

Final Table Results

The tournament paid 12 players, with Wilson claiming the largest share of the $395,000 prize pool. Zamani secured the runner-up payout, while Lonis completed the podium.

Fifth PGT Title Strengthens Wilson's 2026 Campaign

Wilson entered Event #2 with four PGT titles already secured during the season. He previously captured two victories at the PokerGO Cup and another two at the U.S. Poker Open.

Furthermore, he won the overall championships at both festivals, demonstrating his consistency across multiple tournaments.

The latest victory moved Wilson ahead of Sam Soverel and Adrian Mateos, who each held four PGT titles in 2026. He also climbed to second place in the season-long PGT leaderboard with 1,942 points.

However, Sean Winter remained ahead with 2,223 points. Wilson also increased his Card Player Player of the Year total to 5,291 points, strengthening his position among the leading contenders.

Chino Rheem Opens PGT Sprint With Event #1 Victory

Wilson's triumph followed another notable performance at the opening event of the 2026 PGT Sprint series. Chino Rheem won Event #1, collecting $119,600 after defeating 91 other entries in the $5,100 No-Limit Hold'em tournament.

Rheem's victory gave him an early lead in the series standings and continued his strong presence on the PokerGO Tour. His result also established an impressive opening benchmark for the seven-event festival.

With Wilson winning the second tournament, the opening events have already delivered two notable performances from established PGT competitors.

PGT Sprint Continues Through November 4

The 2026 PGT Sprint series features seven single-day tournaments at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. The opening four events carry $5,300 buy-ins, while the remaining three feature $10,500 buy-ins.

Wilson's latest victory provides valuable momentum as the festival continues. Nevertheless, he still faces a challenge from Winter in the season-long standings.

As major tournament results continue shaping the competitive landscape, fans following US online poker sites will have plenty to watch. The remaining PGT Sprint events could also produce further changes among the circuit's leading players.
