Jeremy Ausmus secured his 10th PokerGO Tour (PGT) title by winning Event #7 of the 2026 Poker Masters. The victory earned him $278,400 after a hard-fought final table and a heads-up battle against Aram Oganyan.
The $15,700 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em tournament attracted 58 entries and generated an $870,000 prize pool. Ausmus overcame several accomplished opponents, including Daniel Negreanu, Joe McKeehen, and Adrian Mateos, to claim another major high-stakes title.
The result also strengthened Ausmus' position in the Poker Masters Purple Jacket race, although Mateos remained the overall points leader.
Ausmus Eliminates Major Rivals at the Final Table
Ausmus entered the final day with five players remaining and sat third in chips. He then made his move by winning several crucial pots against the tournament's remaining contenders.
Cherish Andrews finished fifth for $65,250 after her A♠ Q♥ failed to beat Ausmus' 9♣ 9♦. The pocket nines held through the showdown, allowing Ausmus to eliminate another opponent and build his stack.
Mateos followed in fourth place for $87,000. After losing chips earlier, the Spanish star found himself short-stacked and needed a comeback. However, Ausmus' 9♠ 9♦ defeated Mateos' 7♦ 3♣, with the pocket nines holding to secure the elimination.
Joe McKeehen finished third for $121,800 after running into another strong pocket pair. Ausmus held K♠ K♦ against McKeehen's 9♣ 9♥, and the kings held to secure the elimination.
That pot sent Ausmus into heads-up play against Oganyan, leaving him one opponent away from his 10th PGT title.
Ausmus Overcomes Oganyan in Heads-Up Play
Oganyan initially held the advantage during the final duel, but Ausmus gradually fought his way back. The chip lead changed hands before a pivotal showdown shifted the match in Ausmus' favor.
In the key hand, Ausmus held 7♠ 5♠ and completed a straight on the river. Oganyan made three fours with 4♣ 4♦, but the straight gave Ausmus the winning hand and a significant boost.
Ausmus then finished the tournament a few hands later. His Q♥ 7♠ defeated Oganyan's J♦ 5♠, ending the contest and securing the $278,400 first-place prize.
The victory marked another milestone for Ausmus, who has built a reputation through sustained success in major live tournaments. His 10th PGT title added another achievement to a career that already includes six World Series of Poker bracelets.
Event #7 Final Table Results
Ausmus claimed the largest share of the $870,000 prize pool, while Oganyan collected $174,000 for finishing runner-up. The final table also featured several established tournament professionals.

Ausmus Shares His Poker Journey Through Vlogs
Beyond the result, Ausmus has used poker vlogs to give viewers a closer look at the highs and lows of tournament life. His videos capture both successful runs and difficult sessions, offering a more complete picture of professional poker.
"Sometimes I just get my face kicked in and do a vlog of just me losing a whole bunch," Ausmus joked. "So it's nice to bring the wins, the losses, everything."
He also highlighted the atmosphere surrounding the Poker Masters and the relationships players build during the series.
"The environment here is great, and I try to show that in the vlog that I do, just the camaraderie in here."
Those comments provide a personal angle on Ausmus' victory, showing that his content goes beyond celebrating results. Instead, he aims to capture the community and competition that define high-stakes poker.
Purple Jacket Race Remains Open
Ausmus collected 223 PGT points for winning Event #7, bringing his Poker Masters series total to 294. That result moved him into fifth place in the Purple Jacket standings, just one point behind Myles Mullaly.
Mateos remained in front with 451 points after finishing fourth in the event. With three tournaments still to come, the standings could change significantly before the series concludes.
Ausmus' latest victory therefore carries importance beyond the prize money. While he secured another PGT title, he also moved closer to the leading contenders in the overall series race.
Ausmus Adds Another Achievement to His Career
Ausmus' 10th PGT title reinforces his standing among the most consistent performers in high-stakes tournament poker. His career includes six WSOP bracelets and more than $31 million in live tournament earnings.
For poker fans following major results across live events and digital platforms featured on US online poker sites, Ausmus' victory offers another high-stakes story to track.
While the Poker Masters takes place inside the PokerGO Studio, his performance highlights the momentum driving top-tier tournament poker today.
With three events remaining, Ausmus has an opportunity to build on his latest result. Mateos still controls the Purple Jacket race, but Ausmus' victory has made the closing stretch more compelling.
