ACR Poker has rolled out a dynamic new promotion, Sit & Crush, designed to energize players across US online poker sites.
The innovative event blends popular Sit & Go, Jackpot Poker, and On Demand tournaments into a weekly leaderboard competition. It rewards competitors with cash prizes and tournament seats, all while players enjoy their regular games.
Sit And Crush Tournament Mechanics
The Sit & Crush tournament is a weekly rake race that runs from 12:00am Eastern Time (ET) on Saturday until 11:59pm ET on Friday. During this period, players automatically earn points each time they play selected tournaments on Americas Cardroom.
There is no additional entry fee beyond the normal cost of participating in Sit & Go, Jackpot Poker, or On Demand events. Points accumulate on the Sit & Crush leaderboard as soon as a player participates, regardless of whether they win or lose the individual event.
To participate, players simply register and play in any qualifying Sit & Go, Jackpot Poker Game, or On Demand tournament. The Sit & Crush logo appears in the poker client lobby, where players can check their score and ranking at any time.
The more points a player earns, the higher their ranking climbs on the leaderboard. At the end of each week, the top-ranking players receive cash prizes and tournament entries, all funded from ACR Poker's house tournament fees.
Weekly prizes are paid out by end-of-day Saturday following the race, and some players may also receive a ticket valued at $90+5 for a Sunday tournament at 6:00pm ET.
How Participants Earn Points
For Sit & Go and similar games, a portion of the tournament fee contributes to the Sit & Crush prize pool. For example, in a typical $100+10 Sit & Go, $2.50 from each player's fee goes toward the race. Players earn points based on their contributions. On Demand tournaments offer double points, adding extra incentive to join these games.
Access and Leaderboard
The Sit & Crush leaderboard can be accessed directly through the ACR Poker client. Players can track their weekly progress and see potential payout tiers in real time. As the prize pool grows, so does the number of available cash and ticket winnings.
Payout Structure Explained
Sit & Crush uses a tiered cash payout system based on the size of the weekly prize pool. There are four payout tiers:
- Tier 1: $500
- Tier 2: $250
- Tier 3: $125
- Tier 4: $50
For every $3,500 added to the Sit & Crush cash prize pool, ACR Poker awards:
- One Tier 1 prize
- Two Tier 2 prizes
- Five Tier 3 prizes
- Twenty Tier 4 prizes
Once the weekly payouts are distributed, the next race is "reseeded" with $875 and any leftover funds. This ensures continuous prize opportunities as long as players keep participating.
Cash prizes and tournament seats are automatically credited to winners' accounts shortly after each weekly competition ends. This structure encourages regular engagement and keeps players returning to some of the most active US online poker sites.
