See Picks & Statistics For The GameWe are back in Edmonton for Game 3 between the Oilers and the Vancouver Canucks. All tied up at 1-1, the Oilers snuck away with a win in Game 2 to even the series. Now they are back at home and looking to take a series lead, while the Canucks are scrambling to fix a sinking ship.
Connor McDavid was the savior in Game 2, as he tied up the game at 3 just five minutes into the 3rd period to force overtime. Edmonton went on to score 5 minutes into the extra period thanks to Evan Bouchard, assisted by McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Vancouver only mustered up 19 shots in Game 2, which of course, isn’t going to get the job done.
Can they fix their offense and create some extra attack? Or will McDavid and company come away with the win?

Can Canucks Bounce Back on the Road?
The Canucks gave up a lead just like the Oilers did in Game 1. Although, the Canucks looked very stale offensively. They put up just 19 shots, shooting under 20 times on net for the 3rd time this playoff series, yet they somehow still squeaked in 3 goals. Goaltending has been shaky for both sides all playoffs, especially this series, but I think Stuart Skinner is able to clean it up at home tonight.
The Oilers have scored half their goals at home this playoffs, despite playing 2 less games in Rogers Place, and McDavid has yet to net on at home. He has 8 assists and leads the team in points this playoffs, but I could see him finally netting one tonight. McDavid didn’t fire a shot on goal in Game 1, but had an assist. In Game 2, he shot the puck 5 times on net, and had a hat trick of assists and a goal to show for it. He could be heating up at the right time for the Oilers, as he has points in every playoff game this season.
We know how dangerous this man can be, and I think tonight he really reminds us who he is.
Vancouver Canucks vs Edmonton Oilers Best Bets
Best Bet: Connor McDavid Anytime Goal (+110) BetOnline
McDavid has played 76 games this season, 39 on the road, and 37 at home, scoring 32 total goals. He has scored a whopping 23 goals at home, and only 9 on the road all season long. This playoffs, he has yet to score a goal at home for the Oilers. Tonight he puts one in the back of the net.
McDavid has scored in his L3 games at home against the Canucks, totaling 5 goals in those games. He averages roughly 4.8 SOGs and 7.3 total attempts against Vancouver in his career, and coming off a game with 5 SOGs, I see him ripping the puck tonight.
For plus money, I’ll bet on this guy to score at home, since 72% of his goals this season have come at Rogers Place, despite playing just 49% of his games in that arena. He rallies around the home crowd, and tonight with a chance to take a series lead, I see the one and only, Connor McJesus helping the Oilers secure a victory.
I think 3+ Points at +200 could be tasty as well.
