Sunday Night means football for most, but we've got a Western Conference showdown between two very surprising teams, for two very different reasons.
The Anaheim Ducks are 9-11 on the season, and currently sit 5 points ahead of the Edmonton Oilers, whom they face tonight.
The Oilers are 2nd to last in the Pacific Division, and 3rd to last in the Western Conference. They have been so bad this season, posting a 6-12-1 record.
This team has Stanley Cup Champion level talent, yet they still have not figured it out this season.
Will they get the home win tonight? Or can the Ducks start off their Canadien road trip with a win?

While the Ducks are 9-11 currently, they have lost 5 in a row. At 9-6, the Ducks looked like a completely different team than last year, however things quickly changed, getting outscored 22-9 in those 5 losses.
John Gibson currently ranks 15th amongst NHL goalies in Save Percentage, stopping 92% of shots. But he sure needs to. Because the Ducks bleed SOG.
They allowed the 26th most SOG, and 27th most Shot Attempts per game. They spend plenty of time in the Penalty Box, and allow nearly 1 PP Goal per game.
With that being said, there is one guy I'm putting plenty of coin on tonight to excel.

Leon Draisaitl over 3.5 SOGs (-110) Bovada
The 2nd Line Center for the Oilers gets brought up for the 1st unit on the Powerplay, and the guy is just an overall stud.
He's the top scoring option on his line, plus he can take over the game whenever he needs to.
Now, he's only cleared 4+ SOG in 6/19 games this season, and 2/8 at home, however he does extremely well against the Ducks.
Draisaitl has had 4+ Shots on Goal in 5 of his L7 games against Anaheim, posting 3 SOG in the other two contests. He finds a way to rip the puck, and even had 9 SOG in a game against the Ducks last year.
In these L7 against the Ducks, Draisaitl averages 7.6 SA and 4.9 SOG.
I think he rips the puck tonight at home, and I've got a bonus play involving him as well.
Leon Draisaitl over 0.5 PowerPlay Point (-115) Bovada
I really don't have to tell you how good this guy is on the PP, but here's some numbers for fun.
He gets a PP point in 50% of games, 103/207 the past three seasons. This year, that number is down to 42%, but again, his history against the Ducks speaks for itself.
He has a 11 PP Points in 29 career games against the Ducks, but let's look at those last 7.
Drasaitl has a point on the power play in 4 of his L7 against Anaheim, including a multi-PP Point game.
The Ducks average 11.55 Penalty Minutes per game, and they only kill 80% of their penalties.
Draisaitl has a PP point in his L2 games, including 2 on Friday against Washington.
