I know, I know, back to the 60 minute line. But for good reason.

The Hurricanes have only had 2 of their playoffs game go into overtime, granted both of those were in Carolina. On the other hand, the Panthers have had 4 playoff games go to overtime, 3 of them being on the road.

However, between these two teams, we have had three games all decided by at least 2 goals. Florida shut out the Canes 3-0 at home, then the Canes shutout the Panthers, 4-0 at home. In the last meeting, the Canes beat the Panthers in a 10 goal contest in Florida, 6-4.

Tonight, for plus money, I’ll take the Hurricanes to establish themselves with a dominant home win. I’ll guess 4-1 Carolina.

Anton Lundell over 1.5 SOGs (-145) BetMGM

Lundell has hit this line in 61% of games this year, but 72% in road games. He clearly steps up his offensive game away from home.

In the playoffs, he has hit this in 9/12 games and has had at least 1 SOG in all 12 games.

Against the Canes, Lundell has only hit this in 1/3 games, but he had 1 SOG in all three games, and he’s hit in 4 of his L6 against Carolina dating back to last year.

In three games against Carolina this year, Lundell has totaled 4 SOGs on 14 Shot Attempts. He rips the puck against the Canes and in the playoffs, and tonight, I like him to get two for us.
