Game 1 was wild. The Oilers scored just 66 seconds into the game thanks to Leon Draisaitl, but before the end of the period, the Panthers found two of their own to take a 2-1 lead. Just two minutes into the second, Sam Bennett found his second goal of the game to extend the Ice Cats lead, but Viktor Arvidsson responded just over a minute later to cut the lead back to one goal.

Finally, Mattias Ekholm tied things up at three goals apiece six minutes into the third, which held until the end of regulation. To overtime we go! We played nearly an entire extra period before Draisaitl found his second goal of the Stanley Cup Finals with 30 seconds remaining to steal Game 1, winning 4-3.

Will the Oilers continue to win tonight at home? Or can the Panthers find a way to even things up before heading to Florida?

We're risking 2.1 units total, but as long as he cashes his original line, we'll walk away with some profit. He made 42 saves in Game 1, and I don't see the Panthers slowing down the Oilers. I know things went to overtime, and Edmonton totaled 46 SOGs, but they had 36 at the end of regulation, and Bobrovsky had 33 saves.

He only averages 23 saves per game in the postseason, but that's because the Panthers only allow 25 shots on goal per contest. The Oilers pepper the net more than anyone, they play fast and aggressive, and I see the Ice Cats giving in and trying to keep up. Most of these games are going to be shootouts, so the Panthers will just need to turn on the offensive jets.

The Oilers are tough to contain, especially at home. During the postseason, they average 33.63 SOGs per game at home, with 30+ SOGs in regulation of 5/8 games. Bobrovsky is going to let in some goals, but I also think he sees plenty of action. The Panthers allowed 35 shots from Edmonton in the first games in Alberta last Stanley Cup Finals. I see them having trouble slowing down the Edmonton attack and getting drawn into their speedy style of play.

Give me Bobrovsky to stand on his head and cash this whole ladder. All we need is enough shots from one of the best offenses on the ice.
