USC's defense really isn't all that.
They've given up 40+ points in 3 straight games, they give up 30 points per game, ranking 90th amongst FBS teams, and they allow opposing QBs to sling it for nearly 250 yards in the air.
This Utah team beat USC twice last year, so the Trojans revenge at home could always be a narrative, however I like Utah to keep it close. They looked awful against Oregon State on the road a couple weeks ago, but got it back following a bye against California.
In a game they've had circled, I like the Utes to come out and be able to score against USC.
The Pick: Utah TT over 23.5 (-105) Bovada
The Utes know they play a much tougher defense next week at home in the Oregon Ducks. While they do have to focus on winning, against an inferior defense, they may try out new schemes to see how they work in preparation for Oregon.
USC allows 4.2 yards per carry this season, and Utah ran the ball 53 times last weekend.
I see them being able to move the ball and score plenty against the Trojan Defense.
