Let's not overthink this game at all. The hosts are now 1-5 on the season, losing five in a row. Sure, they have been competitive in the last three or so, losing by just seven combined points, but that won't matter against Liberty. Kennesaw State is one of the bottom feeders of the CUSA, and Liberty is looking for another conference championship.
The Flames are on the road, but they have been rolling through anyone they've faced this year. Liberty has won five in a row after losing to a good James Madison team in Week 1. Since then, their games haven't really been close either. Tonight they are laying almost double digits on the road, but I think that is totally fine. Liberty is the MUCH more talented team here, and they are going to show it tonight.

Let me explain my thinking here. Earlier this morning, Kam Davis' touchdown prop was listed at -155 on one book. The rest of the market had him priced anywhere from -190, up to -235. I had to try and take advantage of what I thought was a huge mis price. Instead of laying all that juice for him to score, we simply paired it with the Flames to come out on top, giving us a more tasteful price at -112.
Davis has four touchdowns on the year, is the clear RB1, but we do have to worry about Ethan Vasko coming in to vulture rushing touchdowns. The third string QB has eight carries for 19 yards and four rushing TDs this season. I'm betting on that not happening tonight.
The Owls' defense ranks outside the Top 85 in yards per carry allowed and rushing yards conceded per game. They gave up two rushing touchdowns to Jacksonville State and four total to Tennessee, with four different guys finding the promised land. Liberty ranks No. 7 in the nation in rush play percentage, running the ball over 64% of the time. Davis should have plenty of opportunities to get into the end zone during this Liberty victory on the road.
