Friday Night brings us some Big 12 football in Orlando, as the Baylor Bears head to the Bounce House to take on the UCF Knights. The team from Waco just let go of their head coach, Dave Aranda, and will be looking to get a win without him leading the squad. Does the "fired coach" narrative come into play and help the visitors? Or do the Knights keep rolling after a big upset win over BYU in overtime last week? Find out with our expert NCAA Football picks below.

NCAA Football Expert Insights: Baylor Bears vs. UCF Knights

DJ Lagway has not lived up to expectations this year at Baylor. Will a new head coach make a difference?
We've got an interesting spot for these two teams. For the visitors, they just fired their head coach and have now lost two straight games, to TCU and to Kansas. DJ Lagway was supposed to come in and revamp this offense, but it certainly hasn't looked like that so far this season. Do we see him breakout this weekend on the road?
On the flip side, this might be a major let down spot for UCF. They are coming off a massive win over the No. 2 team in the country. Will they be able to pick themselves up and get ready for the next task at hand?
Earlier this week, the Bears were the clear underdog, catching 1.5 points. Now it seems the line has flipped completely, as Baylor now finds themselves as short road favorites. Personally, I thought Baylor was the right side as an underdog, but now I believe the value lies with the hosts. Regardless, I'll take a different route with my wager in this matchup.

Baylor vs. UCF: NCAA Football Expert Picks

Keyone Jenkins has taken over as the starting QB for the UCF Knights. Can he lead them to victory tonight?
Baylor vs. UCF Prediction: UCF Win Outright, Under 48.5
Best Bets: Baylor/UCF Under 48.5 (-110) BetOnline
We are going to fade both offenses, and back both defenses tonight. UCF ranks No. 55 in the nation in points per play allowed, breaking the top 60 in yards per play as well. Defensively, they have a top 25 trench unit, holding opponents to just 3.3 yards per carry. Their secondary is a little more iffy, but they are still top 40 in opponent completion percentage.
As for the Bears, they are a top 20 team in points per game allowed, holding their foes to just 18 per game. They also have a solid rushing defense, ranking No. 11 in yards per carry allowed, while also breaking the top 50 in both completion percentage and yards per pass allowed. Ultimately, I see both offenses struggling to move the ball, with both defenses stepping up for their teams on this slightly shorter week.
Baylor is outside the top 100 (bottom 40) in both yards per pass and per rush, and both offenses are outside the top 85 in third down conversion rate. Get ready for a sloppy game on Friday Night that the hosts likely win.
