With the World Series just a day away, one intriguing prop to watch is the bet on a player recording 6+ hits in the series. While top names like Tommy Edman and Shohei Ohtani come with steep odds, there are other potential value plays worth considering.

A day away from the Fall Classic, and we're gearing up with more specialty props. One that caught my eye was a prop for a player to record 6+ hits in the series. The players sitting at the top of the odds list offer little to no value. Tommy Edman at (-300), Shohei Ohtani at (-200), and Juan Soto at (-200)—all way too juicy to lay.

However, one player stood out to me at plus money. He started to heat up in the Championship Series, recording eight hits. This postseason, he is batting just under .300 with an OPS of .832. Who might that be, you ask? None other than the leadoff hitter for the New York Yankees, Mr. Gleyber Torres.
I found it odd that BetOnline is offering plus odds for a leadoff hitter to hit this mark. Torres will have more opportunities than most to cash this prop. He was a key contributor to several rallies in the ALCS, and hopefully, he can carry that momentum into the Fall Classic.
Enrique Hernández
As more of a long shot due to fewer at-bats, but still worth considering, is Enrique Hernández at 2/1. The 33-year-old is coming off a stellar series against the Mets, recording seven hits in six games. This postseason, he is batting .303 with 10 hits in nine games. For someone hitting in the middle of the lineup, he will have fewer chances compared to a guy like Torres, but this is great value for a player who has been seeing the ball well all postseason.
