So giving the fans an offensive match on national television to end the week is a great idea. Regardless, both of these pitchers could give up some scores.
Eovaldi has had some rough outings, allowing at least three earned runs in four straight contests, and a total of 13 earned runs in just his last three. The man doesn't have a win since May 17 against Houston, and with as hot as the Red Sox bats have been, they can score plenty off of him tonight. As for Boston, they toss out a southpaw who has also had an up and down year.
Connelly Early has allowed six earned runs in his last two starts, and his 3.30 ERA increases by over half a run when pitching at Fenway Park. The Rangers aren't the best team at hitting lefties, but you can only keep this team down for so long. Tonight I see both combining for plenty of runs to get us over this number.
