I'm going to be real with you, I am fully involved in the 2026 FIFA World Cup that is happening in North America right now. Therefore, I'm not going to pretend that I'm completely tuned in to what's happening in the MLB and on the diamond. However, I am well aware, that today is Friday, and I noticed the Royals play at home. Time for another good ole fashioned SP on the MLB tonight, keep reading for our picks.

In their last 35 games at Kauffman Stadium on Friday Nights, the Kansas City Royals are 24-11 straight up, 19-16 in winning by two, and are 20-15 in scoring at least five runs.
It's also worth noting they put up 14 in a win over the Cardinals last night. The magic comes alive when the weekend at the K rolls around, and in a rivalry series, I see the bats waking up and providing some run support. Typically we blindly tail the moneyline, but tonight we are switching it up a bit after losing our last two system plays.

Sure, those stats are still fine, but the increase on the road worries me, especially considering where the Yals bats have been. Kansas City hits .246 as a team. That increases to .261 when batting at home, and during the month of June they are hitting .285 with a .350 wOBA, which is good for third in the entire MLB.
Tonight at home, look for their bats to stay hot and score at least five runs for us. If you think it may be a low scoring game, feel free to back the Yals on the moneyline with a plus sign instead.
