Happy Hump Day! The week is halfway over, and I have a few bets to help you through your demanding work day. Here are a couple team totals and player props that should help you get through this glorious slate of day baseball.

After getting screwed by Teoscar Hernandez last night when he was taken out of the game after two at-bats for rest, I am running back the same late-night parlay.
Teoscar Hernandez is in the dugout, and looks to be smiling and talking with teammates. So that's good.

Today, the Dodgers are taking on Marlins starter Ryan Weathers, who should be on your radar weekly. He is posting a 4.54 ERA and 1.37 WHIP this season. Teams have gone over 4.5 in three of the seven games he has pitched.
Being first in runs per game this season, the Dodgers should have no problem winning back-to-back games over this prop. They have averaged 6.33 runs per game in their last three games. The Dodgers have been hitting their stride as of late; they are in a great groove.
A guy who should be contributing a ton to this team's total cashing is Teoscar Hernadez. The longtime slugger has an elite matchup rating on Batters-Box.com, and when having an elite rating, Hernandez records at least a hit 70.45% of the time. He also crushes all of Weather's pitches. After being taken out of last night's game after only two at-bats, I think he will be ready to go against the Marlins leftie.

The Stank:
The scorching-hot Phillies should rack up the runs this afternoon, taking on struggling Blue Jays starter Chris Bassitt. According to Batters-Box.com, Bassitt will face four elite hitters from the default and current season ratings. The 35-year-old pitcher has been struggling all season long, posting an ERA of 5.45 and a WHIP of 1.68. He allows an average of 6+ hits and 3+ runs per game this season. Teams have gone over 4.5 runs in five of his seven games this season.
The Phillies have been on an absolute tear, and this is the perfect time to start buying into streaks. In their last three games, they are averaging 7.00 runs per game. At home this season, they are averaging 5.48 runs per game. With studs like Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Bryson Scott, and Brandon Marsh, along with other guys with at least an above-average rating, I think they can get on top of Bassitt and go well over this team's total prop.
