Happy Hump Day to all! There is a massive slate of baseball this evening, and I have a couple of prop bets that everyone will want to sink their chompers into. Here are my favorite plays on the slate today. Fade or follow as you please.

The Stank:
Although the Dodgers won last night after being dominated by Patrick Corbin for 5 innings, today is a new day to take full advantage of the Nationals' below-average pitcher.
Today they are facing starter Jake Irvin, who has to go up against four hitters with elite matchup ratings, according to Batters-Box.com. On top of that, the Dodgers average hitter rating is 0.457 (Elite rating). Irvin has only one solid pitch and that is his fastball. The rest of his pitches are hovering around zero value. Meaning, they are nothing special.

Going hitless in his last four games, Max Muncy is more than due. Against Jake Irvin, he is batting .286 with two doubles and an OPS of .821 in seven at-bats. I am not a fan of sample sizes that small, but it feels good to know he's seen success against Irvin. Muncy has had success against 60% of his pitches. Most importantly, this season, he has an OPS of .871 and a wRC+ of 134 against fastballs. Which is Irvin's most-thrown pitch (49%). According to Batters-Box.com, when having an elite rating, Muncy records a hit 64% of the time. Muncy and the Dodgers should pull through tonight.
MLB Prop Bets: Josh Naylor Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105) Get These Odds & Sign Up Bonus @ Bovada
The Stank:
Facing Red Sox starter Cooper Criswell, who has no remarkable pictures. Naylor tears the cover off of every single one of Criswell's repertoire. His current season numbers are astounding, batting .321, with an OPS of .992.

The Guardians first baseman has over 1.5 total bases in 11 of his 22 games this season. According to Batters-Box.com, when having an elite rating, which he does on this beautiful hump day, Naylor records at least a hit 81.82% of the time. The actual sweat will be the second hit if the first hit is only a single.
However, the numbers he continues to put up against Criswell's pitches are jaw-dropping, and I am currently foaming at the mouth over how much I love Naylor today over 1.5 Baes. Let's Ride.
