Game 7. The words every baseball fan lives for. Everything we have seen over the last seven months comes down to one night. Every pitch, every swing, every mistake—it all matters. The stars are expected to show up, and history remembers the ones who do when it matters most. From a betting angle, this is final opportunity of the season to cash. Here are the Game 7 player props I am taking to close out what has been one hell of a 2025 season.

Thank you again to all the dedicated readers who have been here since before March! I appreciate you dearly!

Dodgers vs. Blue Jays Game 7

For Game 7, it only feels right to run back the same exact play from Game 3, a two-leg hit parlay featuring Freddie Freeman and Shohei Ohtani. With Max Scherzer on the mound, it is simply fitting.

Scherzer's Trends

Scherzer enters tonight with poor marks across both of Batters-Box's ratings. His matchup metrics are brutal, subpar wOBA, ISO, hard contact, and ground ball percentage numbers across the board.

The 41-year-old right-hander has been getting crushed by left-handed bats in recent outings. Against his last 30, he owns a 5.40 ERA, 6.47 xERA, and 5.95 xFIP. Even worse, he is allowing 54.5% hard contact, a 23% barrel rate, and 4.05 HR/9. Those lefties have posted a .327 xBA, .703 xSLG, and .404 xwOBA. Zoom out to his last 60 faced, and the numbers get even uglier, a .421 xBA, .855 xSLG, and .414 xwOBA, with 61% hard contact and a 22% barrel rate.

Hitters' Trends

Freeman and Ohtani enter tonight as two of the Dodgers' three elite-rated hitters. Their elite-rated trends are impeccable. Ohtani, in 248 elite-rated games over the past three seasons, records a hit 75% of the time and homers in nearly 33% of them. Freeman, in 40 elite ratings this season, also records a hit 75% of the time, with a 10% home run rate.

Now, why mention their home run trends? Because if you want an extra sweat tonight, the Freeman-Ohtani home run combo pays 14-to-1. I have never cashed a home run parlay, mostly because I never play the, but with the season ending tonight, why not us? One last long shot to close out the year feels right.

At -110, this is tremendous value for two of the most consistent bats in baseball to deliver in Game 7 of the World Series against a right-hander who has been torched by lefties.

Bonus Looks

Also, keep an eye on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Ohtani for live walk props. If either records a hit early, expect pitchers to pitch around them the rest of the way, especially if either goes yard.

Game 7 is here, and it is everything we have been waiting for. Running it back with Freeman and Ohtani feels like the perfect move against a struggling Scherzer. These two elite hitters have the numbers, the consistency, and the history to deliver when it matters most. At -110, this two-leg hit parlay is insane value for a final push in the 2025 season. Add in the potential live walk plays for Guerrero Jr. and Ohtani, and you have multiple ways to ride the momentum. One last chance to have fun and cash in on the biggest stage.

Best Bet: 2-Leg Hit Parlay Shohei Ohtani & Freddie Freeman 1+ Hit (-110) odds via BetOnline
