Pennsylvania's online casino market delivered another strong month in July 2026. The state recorded more than $300 million in gross iGaming revenue.
The performance marked another milestone for Pennsylvania gambling as the new fiscal year began. It also reinforced the importance of online gaming to the state's broader gambling industry.
According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), total iGaming revenue reached $249.01 million on an adjusted basis. That figure excludes promotional spending by operators. Gross iGaming revenue reached roughly $311.9 million before promotional deductions.
The results also show how Pennsylvania continues to stand apart from many other regulated markets. While US online sportsbooks attract substantial wagering activity, US online casinos generate significant recurring revenue in Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania iGaming Revenue Tops $300 Million
The PGCB's July 2026 report confirmed another strong month for the Keystone State's online casino sector.
The regulator reported $249.01 million in adjusted iGaming revenue during July. That represented a 9.09% increase from $228.26 million in July 2025.
Gross revenue reached approximately $311.9 million, according to an analysis of the PGCB figures. That total ranked as Pennsylvania's sixth-highest monthly iGaming result.
The market also improved from June, when gross online casino revenue reached about $303.1 million. July therefore produced a 2.9% month-over-month increase.
Online Casinos and Slots Lead Pennsylvania's iGaming Market
Online slots remained the dominant contributor to Pennsylvania's July performance.
The PGCB reported $199.24 million in adjusted online slot revenue. That figure climbed 12.41% from $177.25 million in July 2025.
Slots accounted for roughly 80% of Pennsylvania's adjusted iGaming revenue. Their performance therefore played a central role in the market's annual growth.
Several operators also posted substantial year-over-year gains. Hollywood Casino at Penn National generated $97.04 million in iGaming revenue. Valley Forge Casino Resort followed with $70.11 million.
Rivers Casino Philadelphia generated another $40.48 million, while Harrah's Philadelphia reached $14.66 million. Harrah's revenue increased 40.01% from the previous year.
The July results also benefited from continued consumer demand for online gaming. Pennsylvania entered the month with a mature market and an established operator base.
At the same time, one notable change affected the market. Mount Airy Casino Resort ceased offering internet gaming during July.
Despite that change, the statewide market still delivered strong annual growth.
Table Games and Online Poker Add to July Revenue
Online table games generated $47.43 million in adjusted revenue during July. That represented a 2.20% decline from $48.49 million in July 2025.
Although table games declined annually, they remained an important part of Pennsylvania's iGaming ecosystem. The category generated nearly one-fifth of adjusted online casino revenue.
Online poker contributed another $2.34 million during the month. Poker revenue declined 7.14% year over year from $2.52 million.
Poker represented a much smaller share of total iGaming revenue. Still, it continues to provide Pennsylvania players with another regulated online gaming option.
Together, table games and poker generated nearly $50 million in adjusted revenue during July. Their contribution helped diversify the state's online casino market beyond slots.
Pennsylvania's iGaming Market Remains Strong
July's performance provides another indication of Pennsylvania's growing dependence on online gambling revenue.
The PGCB reported $115.55 million in iGaming tax revenue for July. That figure highlights the significant contribution online gaming makes to Pennsylvania's public finances.
The broader gaming market also performed well. Pennsylvania generated $591.09 million across all regulated gaming and fantasy contests during July. That represented a 5.99% increase from July 2025.
The state collected $256.77 million in gaming tax revenue across those activities.
Sports betting also posted strong results during the month. Sportsbooks generated $51.84 million in revenue from a $509.54 million handle. Revenue increased 27.75% year over year.
Still, iGaming remained the larger online revenue generator.
July's figures suggest Pennsylvania's online casino market can sustain $300 million-plus gross revenue months. Continued slot strength should remain crucial to that performance.
For Pennsylvania gambling, that creates a strong foundation for the remainder of fiscal year 2026/27.
