- #1 EMERGING MARKET (6-5): Major Player. Not far behind the top-rated runner on raw ability. Ran the fastest race of anyone last time out. The one concern: post position is a hurdle from out there.
- #6 MEMORY (4-1): Major Player. Deserves more respect than the ratings give him. Can be hit or miss from race to race.
- #2 STOWAWAY (6-1): Contender. Can win if he runs to his best, but there are reasons to look elsewhere on top. A reasonable inclusion for the trifecta.
- #3 GOULD'S GOLD (6-1): Contender. Our own look at the race moves him up. Has enough upside to round out the exotics.
