¡Hola mi amigos! This week the Formula One paddock heads across the border from their last race to Mexico City!

With a ton on the line still this weekend like we had last week but things are very much more clear as we head into this weekend.

We have 20 year old Kimi Antonelli looking to lock down his very first drivers championship but first he must scave off his own teammate George Russell.

We also have that tight race for third in the constructors championship betweek Redbull and McLaren as well.

So who knows what we will have in store for this weekend but I am going to give you my best foot forward for the Mexico City Grand Prix!

Mexico City Grand Prix Breakdown & Analysis

A high altitude track that many consider a very technical course but do not let that discourage you as the straights on this track produce some of the fastest speeds we see on the calendar all year.

With the track sitting at over 2,000 meters above sea level the air is about 20% less dense giving these cars even better aerodynamics and the ability to reach speeds of over 360KM/H. For my fellow Americans that is over 6,500 feet in elevation and 220 MPH.

What does it take to win in Mexico City and these challenging conditions? The better question is what does it take to survive here?

It takes being absolutely dialed in terms of driver, mechanics, strategist, and car.

With the elevation being so high and the air so thin it is very easy for these cars to overheat and experience mechanical failure. So drivers must teeter the line of pushing the cars to the max but not over doing it.

Same goes for mechanics and strategist, they must put the car and driver in positions to succeed on the track with those conditions.

Another key factor here in Mexico City is surving that long straight into turn one.  An 830 Meter (2,700 feet) turn into a heavy breaking zone has been known to end a drivers day early here on more than one occassion.

Lastly, you must qualify well here. With overtaking being more that difficult on the track getting that front row spot is monumental at trying to win the Mexico City Grand Prix.

40% of winners in Mexico City have come from P1 and P2, with 79% of those coming from P1.

Mexico City Grand Prix Best Bets & Predictions

Race Winner: Kimi Antonelli +200 on Lucky Rebel

Yeah the golden boy gets it done again this weekend. Listen guys, all Kimi needs is first through nineth to secure the championship, but who wants to place nineth the day the enter formula one history?

Is it an uphill battle for him as the Ferrari car is much better on these tight technical tracks? Yeah of course it is. But Kimi has only shown us this year time and time again that he is capable of accompliishing the impossible. What better way to end your championship winning season than to defy all odds once again?

Kimi Antonelli No Matter What.

Isack Hadjar To Place Top 6 +100 on Lucky Rebel

Another young driver on an absolute heater during the last half of this season.

With third place and millions on the line for his team, Red Bull will need Hadjar to keep performing. Placing top 6 in 11 of his 15 starts this year I love the price on this bet for Hadjar.

Total Virtual Safety Cars o1.5 +170 on Luck Rebel

We talked about this earlier but with the altitude being so high it is recipe for disaster. Pair that with the worries of overheating and the tight track? We might have just multiplied that recipe by ten times.

A driver is bound to brake late, mismanage his tires, or overheat his car. So with the FIA priority of not wanting to use the actual safety car for accidents give me this bet all day long.

Aston Martin Total Classified Drivers – 0 (ZERO) +350 on Lucky Rebel

To put is short and simple. Bad car, challenging conditinos, tight technical track, and Lance Stroll is half of your driver pairing? Yeah give me this one.
