Welcome to our NFL standings page. Here you can find the latest National Football League conference and division standings, as well as betting records for the league’s 32 teams.

If you bet on the NFL, keeping up with the latest results and standings each week is important.

The information on this page can be used in conjunction with other content we offer to help with betting on this week’s NFL games.

How to Read Our NFL Standings

On this page, there are three different sections of NFL standings, separated by betting record, conference standings, and division standings.

Betting Record

Against the Spread (ATS)

Each week, many bettors like to bet on NFL point spreads. This column shows each team’s record against the spread (ATS).

The first number is how many times a team has covered the spread. The second number is how many times they have failed to cover the spread. The third number is how many times they have had a push, which means that they won or lost by the exact margin indicated in the spread.

For example, if the Kansas City Chiefs have an ATS record of 11-5-1, that means that they have covered the spread 11 times, failed to cover the spread five times, and pushed once.

ATS Home & ATS Away

These columns break down the ATS records into home and away records.

If the Chiefs are 11-5-1 ATS overall, they could be 6-2-0 ATS at home and 5-3-1 ATS away from home.

What does that mean? At home, they have covered the spread six times and failed to cover the spread twice. On the road, they have covered the spread five times, failed to cover the spread three times, and pushed on the spread once.

Over/Under

The final column in the NFL betting record standings is for over/under betting (also known as total betting) results. This column shows how many times a team’s games have gone over or under (or pushed).

The first number is how many times a team’s games have gone over the total. The second number is how many times a team’s games have gone under the total. The third number is how many times the total has pushed.

For example, the Dallas Cowboys could have an over/under record of 10-7-0. That means that the over has hit in ten of their games, the under has hit in seven of their games, and there have been no pushes.

Conference & Division Standings

What do the columns in the conference and division standings represent?

Of course, bets will often lose even when records, stats, and trends have all lined up favorably. Those are just the breaks of betting, whether you are betting on the NFL, NBA, MLB, or anything else. But if your research is spot on and your bets reflect that, you are set up well to have a lot of success long term.

Which Teams Will Top the NFL Standings This Season?

The NFL regular season takes place over the course of 18 weeks, with each team playing 17 games. Over those 18 weeks, many twists and turns will take place, and there will be a lot of movement in the NFL standings.

That said, several teams will be expected to occupy prominent positions in the standings for the duration of the 2024 season, or at least at the business end of the season.

The Chiefs enter the 2024 season as the two-time defending Super Bowl champions. They will be looking to become the first team in Super Bowl history to three-peat.

The San Francisco 49ers, the team that the Chiefs defeated to win Super Bowl 58 this past season, are expected to make a run at a Super Bowl return.

Other teams expected to be among the NFL’s best teams, as per Super Bowl futures odds, are the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions, the losers of last season’s AFC and NFC championship games, as well as the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys.
