Happy hump day. We've got a full plate today with MLB going on all day and a four game slate in the WNBA. The ladies have been absolutely hooping this year and with a four game slate looking us right in the face, we've got to dive in.

I've got three props locked in on tonight's slate and I love every single one. Let's jump right into tonight's best player props in The W.

Today's Best Bets

Alyssa Thomas

Alyssa Thomas o16.5 A/R (-115) | Lucky Rebel

The Phoenix Mercury were eight games below .500, sitting two spots outside of the playoffs and yet they took a huge swing at the this year's trade deadline. The team traded for 4x All-Star, 2x WNBA Champion and former Sixth Player of the Year; Kelsey Plum.

Plum had played in 12 games this year for the Sparks, averaging 23.9 points and 6.4 assists per game. She was shooting nearly 40% from beyond the arc and 53% from the field. The team won 7 of those 12 games, but after Plum got hurt; it got ugly in Los Angeles.

The Sparks went 4-12 without Plum and quickly became sellers at the deadline. The Mercury took a swing and traded their first round pick next year for Plum. The Mercury hope to keep Plum past this season and with just a one game sample size, it looks like she might want the same.

I've talked a ton about Plum, but because of her minutes restriction, I'm looking right at Alyssa Thomas. Thomas record 19 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists in their win over Chicago on Monday. The Mercury scored 106 points and Plum scored 20 of those off the bench.

In the 22 minutes that Plum played, the team had an offensive rating of 141.9; that's not a typo. In the 15 minutes that Thomas, Plum and Kahleah Copper shared the floor; the offensive rating jumped to 165.5.

Incredibly small sample size for the trio, but it doesn't really surprise me. Thomas is averaging 7.3 rebounds per game this year and leads all Mercury players. Add in the 8.4 assists per game and you can quickly see why she's such an asset to both Copper and Plum.

azzi Fudd

Azzi Fudd o2.5 3s (+140) | Lucky Rebel

The rookie, Azzi Fudd is next on my radar. The kid's hit this line in 6 of her last 8 games, she's shooting 44% from beyond the arc over her last 10 games and tonight she's back in her home state of Virginia.

Fudd was born in Arlington, Texas; a county just 20 minutes from the Washington Mystics home arena. The Mystics rank 8th in opponent 3s made and have been excellent on the perimeter, that being said with both Paige Bueckers and Jessica Sheppard on this team, I'm sure she'll get some open shots.

This will be Fudd's third time playing the Mystics this year, failing to clear this line in both prior games. Fudd didn't take a single 3-point attempt in the first game and went 2/8 in their most recent matchup last week.

The kid from Virginia's gotten a lot more comfortable over the last few weeks and you can see it in her confidence. Fudd's taking 6.4 3s per game over her last 10 and she's taken 7+ attempts in 5 of those games.

Kamilla Cardoso

Kamilla Cardoso o8.5 Rebounds (-110) | Lucky Rebel

I've got Kamilla Cardoso locked in for 9+ rebounds tonight and it's because of this matchup with the Sparks.

The Sparks just traded their best player, albeit she hadn't played in a while; but Kelsey Plum was the Sparks best player. First game without Plum the Sparks go on the road, score 106 points against the Portland Fire and now they head to Chicago.

The Sky rank 5th in opponent effective field goal percentage, 1st in opponent 3-point percentage and 6th in opponent field goal percentage. They've been good defensively, they just can't score points.

Cardoso leads the Sky in rebounding, averaging 8.6 rebounds per game and 2.6 offensive rebounds per game. The Sparks rank 13th in rebounds allowed, 13th in opponent offensive rebound rate and 14th in offensive rebound rate.

Los Angeles does not rebound well and I'm expecting Cardoso to take advantage on her home floor.
