We've officially reached our first international break of the season, and it's a long one!

We have three weeks of international footy ahead of us, starting today.

Personally, I don't love the timing of this break. It felt like most clubs and players were finally starting to hit their stride.

However, we take what we're given!

I love international football though, and there are going to be plenty of opportunities over the next three weeks. Hopefully, we can carry our recent form into the break and find some winners.

With that said, let's get into the plays!

Norway vs. Denmark

Before we get into this matchup, I want to mention one thing about the opening week of international play.

Go light with your plays and units.

Much like the beginning of a club season, players need time to get comfortable with their international teammates again. Therefore, it could take a match or two before we really know what to expect from some of these teams.

With that said, I really like this matchup.

We saw how exciting this Norway side could be at the World Cup. More importantly, anytime Erling Haaland is on the pitch, there's a good chance we see goals.

Norway have been especially dangerous when playing at home.

Across their last 10 matches in Norway, the hosts have scored at least twice in eight of them. Additionally, all eight of those matches finished with at least three total goals.

However, Denmark are certainly no pushover.

After missing the World Cup, I expect this group to be highly motivated during this international cycle. The goal now is getting back on track and building toward qualification for the next World Cup.

One thing I like about Denmark is their ability to adapt.

They can slow matches down when needed, but they also have the quality to play at a higher tempo. If Norway want to attack aggressively at home, Denmark should be more than willing to match that style.

The recent numbers back that up as well.

Seven of Denmark's last eight matches have finished with at least three goals. More importantly, they've scored at least twice in all seven of those games.

That gives us two attacks entering this matchup in excellent form.

Norway should push the tempo in front of their home supporters. Meanwhile, Denmark have enough quality to punish them if they leave openings going the other way.

Ultimately, I expect chances on both ends.

With Over 2.75, we also get some protection if this lands on exactly three goals.

Give me goals in Norway.

Austria vs. Israel

Gregoritsch should be leading Austria's attack today against Israel.

This could be a sneaky spot for goals.

First, I want to mention that the Both Teams To Score price is all over the place depending on the sportsbook. Therefore, make sure you shop around before placing this bet.

If you can find a playable number, I like the spot.

Israel have legitimate attacking quality, and several players arriving for this international window are in excellent form.

However, the problems for Israel have traditionally come in the midfield and back line.

They've struggled to control matches for long stretches, while defensive mistakes continue to give opponents opportunities.

Israel have conceded in five of their last seven matches. Additionally, they allowed multiple goals in four of those five games.

That could become a major problem against Austria.

Now, Austria can be a difficult team to predict.

There are matches where they look extremely dangerous and completely overwhelm opponents. Then, there are days when they seem perfectly comfortable grinding out a 1-0 result.

However, I think Israel's style could force Austria into a more entertaining match.

The visitors like to press and play aggressively. As a result, that should create opportunities for Austria to attack the space left behind.

Austria have also been incredibly consistent at home when it comes to finding the back of the net.

They've scored in 12 consecutive matches played in Austria. Against this Israel defense, I expect that streak to reach 13.

The question becomes whether Israel can contribute on the other end.

I believe they can.

They have enough attacking talent to create chances, especially if Austria commit numbers forward and this match begins to open up.
