It seems like Major League Soccer and Liga MX just took a break for the World Cup. After teams were back in action for just a few matches, we put a pause on the regular season once again for the All Star Game! For the past two years, the MLS All Stars have played the Liga MX All Stars, and the teams also went head to head in 2022 and 2021. After yesterday's skill fest activities, tonight is the main event, as the MLS All Stars take on the Liga MX All Stars. Let's get into our favorite picks.

First and foremost, let's keep in mind that this is an All Star Game, but we are probably missing tons of the "big name" stars of the league, such as Lionel Messi who will not be playing. However, other European legends like Thomas Muller (Vancouver) and Son Heung-Min (LAFC) should take the pitch.
Last year, the MLS All Stars were victorious, winning 3-1, but in 2024, Liga MX claimed the crown, winning 4-1. We have a relatively high total in this match, especially considering we have seen less than five goals combined between these teams in three of the last four head to head meetings. Will tonight be a goal fest like the fans hope?

Best Bet: MLS All Stars 1H ML (+150) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
We should expect plenty of subs in this match. In past years, the MLS has made multiple subs around the 30 minute mark, a few at halftime, and another round of new personnel coming in around the 65′ minute. But to me, what that means, is the starters are going to be very aggressive. They know they won't have 90 minutes to wow the fans, or even an hour. They basically get the first 30 minutes to leave their mark on the game.
We saw the MLS open the scoring last year early on, leading 1-0 at half before seeing three total goals in the second half. Last year, Liga MX did not make any first half subs, but brought in a bunch of new talent for the second half. I would also lean with the highest scoring half to be the second, but that is priced around -140, so not really worth the juice in my eyes.
This is just a half unit sprinkle, no need to go big on an All Star Game, but ultimately I could see plenty of offense, especially early on from the hosts.
