Friday brings us plenty of action on the pitch, but our analysts decided to focus on the standalone contests in the EPL and the MLS. In England, Ipswich Town is hosting Liverpool, while New York City hosts Nashville in the MLS. Let's take a look at our expert soccer picks in these matches to see if we can keep finding some profit.

Soccer Expert Picks: Friday's Predictions September 4
While there is a solo match in the La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga, as well as a couple Ligue 1 matches, I'll be sticking with what I know. My soccer handicapping doesn't extend much further than the EPL, MLS and UEFA Champions League, but there are still edges to be found in those leagues. Let's look at Friday's picks.
Ipswich Town vs. Liverpool EPL Picks
Dominik Szoboszlai saved Liverpool with a PK in their opening match. Can the Reds find a win on the road in Ipswich?
Best Bet: Ipswich Town/Liverpool 1H Over 1.25 (-125) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
We will soften the blow if we see exactly one goal with a push and loss scenario, but I am confident we see two. Therefore, feel free to take this first half total up to over 1.5 for +115. Liverpool hasn't seen two goals in the first 45 of either of their matches, but they have scored and conceded early, ending up with four total goals in each of those contests. As for Ipswich, they have gotten on the board early in both of their matches, conceding a first half goal to Manchester United as well.
Liverpool should be motivated to come out and smash this weaker opponent. They need to earn three points after starting the season with two straight draws, barely avoiding losses in both matches. I think the Reds are licking their lips looking at this matchup on Friday, with plenty of time to recoup before hosting Atlético Madrid on Wednesday to kick off the UEFA Champions League.
Prediction: Liverpool Wins 1H 2-0 (+650)
New York City FC vs. Nashville SC MLS Picks

Back the visitors with me on the road at Yankee Stadium on Friday evening. New York City FC is hosting Nashville SC in their second meeting of the season. In the opener at GEODIS Park, Nashville was victorious 2-1, and the visitors needed a penalty kick to even get on the scoreboard. They are also trending in the right direction while New York City is not.
Nashville has won four straight MLS matches since getting knocked out of the Leagues Cup. That includes shutout wins over FC Cincinnati and the New York Red Bulls, in New Jersey. Overall they are unbeaten in their last five straight, and are unbeaten in 15 of their last 16 MLS matches. They are humming.
As for New York City, they have played to two straight draws in MLS play, but do not have a win in their last five league contests. I have much more confidence in Nashville winning this match, and for push potential, the draw no bet line is the perfect compromise.
Prediction: Nashville SC Wins 2-0 (+1100)
