These teams met in late October for the first edition of El Clasico. In that contest, Barcelona lost on the road to Real Madrid, who won 2-1. This was the first time they had beaten Barcelona outright in at least four straight head to head contests. However, their foes are in fantastic form.

Barcelona has won nine straight matches in all competitions, including five straight in shutout fashion. They are outscoring their opponents 13-0 in those contests, and they even beat Villarreal and Espanyol on the road, who currently sit at No. 4 and No. 5 on the La Liga table. Madrid have won five straight as well, beating Atletico, but they did lose to Manchester City at home in the UEFA Champions League.

Best Bet: Barcelona/Real Madrid Under 3.5 (-110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

Once again, these two teams meet to prove who is the best in Spain. And I'm going to be the sicko that bets the under. This is the fourth straight year these two teams have met in this tournament final, and all three of the previous meetings went over this number. In 2023, Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-1. In 2024, Real Madrid got their revenge, winning 4-1. And finally last season, they flip flopped again, with Barcelona lifting the Cup, winning 5-2.

Surely we are bound for an under, right?

The back line of Real Madrid will be the kicker in this match. If they can contain Barcelona and limit their scoring opportunities, they have a much better chance at winning this. And obviously they know that. The focus should be on the defensive side of things, it always is when facing a team with the attacking power of Barcelona.

As a soccer fan, part of the reason I am hoping for a low scoring game is that likely means we see a 1-1 draw, which means extra time in the additional El Clasico. Let's hope that's what we get.

Prediction: 1-1 Draw (+775)
