Michael Mizrachi added another remarkable chapter to his legendary poker career after winning the 2026 World Series of Poker Event #70: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship. The American poker star claimed his ninth WSOP bracelet and a career-best $1,350,203 prize in the prestigious four-card event.
Mizrachi dominated the tournament throughout the four-day event. He built a commanding chip lead before the field reached the final stages and converted it into another WSOP title. The victory also marked his first win in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, adding another milestone to his already decorated résumé.
The latest triumph further strengthens Mizrachi's place among poker's all-time greats. Meanwhile, players following elite tournament action on US online poker sites will recognize the championship as one of the toughest Pot-Limit Omaha events on the annual poker calendar.
Michael Mizrachi Controls the Final Stages of the Championship
Mizrachi entered Day 4 with a substantial chip lead over the only two remaining players, Zarvan Tumboli and Michael Hahn. Day 3 had already concluded with Martin Zamani's elimination in fourth place, leaving the trio to battle for the bracelet.
Although only three players returned, Mizrachi had already navigated one of the toughest final tables of the series. The official final table featured Toby Joyce, Jesse Lonis, Raj Vohra, Ian Matakis, Martin Zamani, Michael Hahn, Zarvan Tumboli, and Mizrachi.
Joyce finished eighth after his pocket aces failed to hold against Zamani's kings. Lonis followed in seventh, while Vohra exited in sixth as Mizrachi continued to build momentum.
Matakis finished fifth after his flush draw failed to improve against Mizrachi's made straight. Zamani then fell in fourth late on Day 3, ending play with Mizrachi holding a commanding advantage over the remaining competitors.
The final day's lone elimination came when Hahn committed his stack holding kings and deuces with additional straight possibilities. Mizrachi called with A-Q-J-6 and completed Broadway on the river, sending Hahn to the rail in third place.
The victory gave Mizrachi an overwhelming chip lead entering heads-up play against Tumboli.
Mizrachi Rivers the Winning Straight Against Zarvan Tumboli
Despite beginning at a significant chip disadvantage, Tumboli battled well during heads-up play and looked poised to score a crucial double-up in the tournament's defining hand.
The chips went into the middle on a flop of 8♠ 8♥ J♠.
Tumboli held A♠ A♥ 6♦ 3♥, making him a strong favorite with pocket aces. Mizrachi called with J♥ 10♦ 7♥ 6♠, giving him top pair and a powerful wrap straight draw.
The 4♣ turn changed little, leaving Tumboli one card away from doubling his stack and narrowing the gap.
Instead, the 9♠ landed on the river to complete Mizrachi's straight. The dramatic river card secured the pot, eliminated Tumboli in second place, and delivered Mizrachi his ninth WSOP bracelet.
The thrilling finish capped one of the most dominant tournament performances of the 2026 World Series of Poker.

Ninth Bracelet Further Cements Mizrachi's Legacy
Mizrachi's latest victory carries significance beyond the seven-figure payday. The win moved him into the exclusive group of players with nine WSOP bracelets while highlighting his versatility across multiple poker disciplines.
Best known for his record four victories in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and his memorable 2025 WSOP Main Event title, Mizrachi added another prestigious championship to his collection by conquering one of poker's toughest Pot-Limit Omaha events.
Following the victory, Mizrachi explained why this bracelet held a unique place among his accomplishments.
"Obviously every bracelet is amazing to win, to win the [Poker Players Championship] four times, to win the Main Event is crazy. But I was tired of winning the PPC. I had to do something different. So we mix it up this year. I think I would take the PLO over the PPC right now just to have something different on my belt."
His comments reflected the satisfaction of conquering a new challenge after years of success in mixed games and no-limit hold'em.
With nine bracelets now to his name, Mizrachi continues to strengthen his Hall of Fame résumé. His latest triumph stands as one of the defining moments of the 2026 WSOP.
It's also another reminder of why he remains one of poker's greatest competitors, both on the live circuit and across US online poker sites.
