Arizona Cardinals

Arizona CardinalsThe Arizona Cardinals defense is bad. The team ranks dead last in points allowed, 28th in opponent redzone efficiency, 25th in passing yards allowed and 28th in opponent yards per play The team's giving up a ton of points and they're letting it happen from all over the field.

The Cardinals rank 23rd in redzone touchdowns allowed, 18th in opponent redzone attempts per game, they've given up 18 touchdowns in the redzone and 38% of the team's defensive drives are ending in a touchdown.

Arizona's given up 14 touchdowns through the air down in the redzone and 10 of those 14 touchdowns have gone to opposing wideouts. This week the Cardinals will line up against one of the best duos in the league, Davante Adams and Puka Nacua.

With a total of 51.5 and an implied team total of 32 points for the Rams; this feels like the perfect defense to target.

Puka Nacua in the Redzone:

  • 27% Target Share
  • 88% Route Share
  • 81% Snap Share
  • 44% 1st Read Target Share
  • 4 Redzone Targets
  • 2 Endzone Targets

  • 71% Route Share
  • 68% Snap Share
  • 29% 1st Read Target Share
  • 7 Redzone Targets
  • 3 Endzone Targets

Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are 4-1, averaging the most points per game in the league (32.8) and yet it seems like this team continues to be in a dog fight every single week. It's because of this defense and how bad they've been at keeping teams out of the endzone.

The Bills lead the league in scoring, but rank 28th in points allowed (28.2). The team's given up 18 touchdowns in the redzone this year, they rank 27th in opponent redzone efficiency (76%) and 28th in opponent redzone attempts per game.

The defense is 31st in first downs allowed, 31st in passing yards allowed and 31st in opponent redzone touchdowns per game. The team continues to give up points and this week they travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders.

The Raiders are coming off back to back losses, their first two of the year. The team ranks 9th in points per game (26.4), 8th in pass yards per game and 7th in redzone scoring attempts per game.

Kirk Cousins has been fantastic, averaging 253.8 pass yards per game, with 12 touchdowns and just 4 interceptions. Brock Bowers is back on the field and in just 3 games so far this year, he's got 35 targets, 24 catches, 312 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.

Bowers has scored a touchdown in every one of his games this year and this week he matchups with an especially soft Buffalo defense. The Bills have allowed 13 touchdowns through the air this year and just 1 has been to a TE.

New Orleans Saints

Arizona Cardinals

We've had really bad weather in New York for the last two weeks and because of that I've avoided most of their matchups. This week we've got cooler temperatures, with clear skies and minimal winds. Feels like perfect fall football weather in the Big Apple.

This week the Giants will host the Saints at MetLife Stadium and this Saints defense has just been awful. The Saints rank 31st in points allowed (30.2), 29th in opponent first downs, 29th in opponent third down conversion rate and 23rd in opponent yards per play.

New Orleans has given up 18 touchdowns in the redzone and 10 of them have come on the ground with opponent RBs. This week they'll face off against Cam Skattebo, Najee Harris and the rest of this Giants backfield.

  • 11 Redzone Carries

Najee Harris

  • 46% Snap Share
  • 47% Designated Carry Share
  • 7 Redzone Carries

Washington Commanders

Washington CommandersLast team we need to highlight, the Washington Commanders. The Commanders rank 3oth in points allowed, 32nd in opponent redzone efficiency, 29th in pass yards allowed and 24th in opponent third down conversion rate.

The Commanders can't get stops, can't get off the field and really can't defende anyone in the redzone. The team's given up 16 redzone touchdowns this year and 14 have gone to opposing WR/TE.

Mike Sainristil has allowed the mos touchdowns in the league (5) and this week he's lining up against the hottest QB in the NFL.

Brock Purdy is averaging 239.2 pass yards per game, he's thrown 13 touchdowns and he's turned the ball over just twice. Purdy's completing 69% of his passes and he's just been elite, no matter the opponent.

The 49ers are now 5-0, with wins against all 4 of the Conference Championship teams from last year. They've beat the Broncos, the Patriots, the Rams and now the Seahawks. This week he takes on the worst pass defense in the league and with the implied team total of 29 points.

The 49ers are going to score points this week, it's just a matter of figuring out who.
