NBA Preview, Odds & Picks for December 9: Will Back-to-Backs Affect Jazz, Sixers, Grizzlies & Nuggets?

With 13 NBA games being played last night, most of the teams that are in action tonight are on the back half of a back-to-back. Will that have an effect on your NBA betting choices for tonight’s trio of games?

In the first game of the evening, the Philadelphia 76ers host the Jazz. Both teams played last night, with the Jazz recording a road rout of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Sixers edging out the Hornets in Charlotte for the second time in three nights.

The second game tonight sees LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies’ five-game win streak came to an end last night in a home loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers, meanwhile, are back in action after Tuesday’s 15-point win over the Boston Celtics.

In the third game of the night, the San Antonio Spurs take on Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets travel to San Antonio after an overtime win over the New Orleans Pelicans, with the MVP leading the way with 39 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. The Spurs, who were off last night, had a brief surge but head into this matchup with consecutive losses this week to the Suns and Knicks.

Let’s take a look at tonight’s schedule and the top NBA betting picks for each matchup.
