We've reached the final weekend of the MLB regular season and what a run it has been! Coming off 4-4 +.80 week, which brings our YTD mark to 46-30 for a profit of +22.23 Units. There are still playoff spots and seedings to be determined and today I am targeting two very important games for my Best Bets, the Colorado Rockies vs the Chicago White Sox and the Arizona Diamondbacks vs the San Diego Padres. Colorado Rockies vs Chicago White Sox
Colorado Rockies vs Chicago White Sox Pitching Matchup
- Colorado Rockies (57-103) LHP Jose Quintana (2-3, 5.40 ERA/1.51 WHIP)

Best Bet: Chicago White Sox Team Total Over 4.5 -115 Lucky Rebel
The Chicago White Sox have made a miraculous 3 year turnaround going from 41–121 in 2024 (setting the modern MLB single-season loss record) and 60-102 in 2025 to 83-77 this season, having clinched a post season berth. The Pale Hole has a shot at winning the America League Central as they sit 1 game back of the Cleveland Guardians, with 2 games left to play. The Sox face a putrid Colorado Rockies pitching staff and the best chance Colorado had to win a game in this series went down the drain last night. Teams typically have a "hangover" game after clinching a playoff berth on Thursday, Chicago kept rolling as they defeated the Rockies by a 6-1 count.
Chicago's offense has been humming lately. Over their last 10 games they are averaging 6.4 runs per 9. The Sox face lefty Jose Quintana today, and they average 4.8 runs per 9 against lefties at home this season. Quintana has struggles on the road this season where he sports a 6.75 ERA with a 1.77 WHIP and a .294 batting average against. Behind him is a bullpen that owns a 4.84 ERA, which is 4th worst in the majors. I see no reason why this lineup can't continue their hot hitting today, at Rate Field, in Chicago.
Best Bet: Chase Meidroth Over 1.5 Total Bases +163 Lucky Rebel
Chicago second baseman Chase Meidroth is have a solid season. The 2nd year pro is hitting .275 with 16 home runs and 63 runs batted in. Chase smokes left handed pitching as he is hitting .342 vs southpaws, with 7 home runs and 22 runs batted in, with an ISO of .239. Like most of this lineup, Meidroth is red hot at the plate. During gthe month of September he is hitting .299 with 4 home runs and 12 runs batted in. He's cleared this mark in 4 straight games, totaling 15 total bases. We are getting an outstanding price on this price and I like Chase to Cash this tonight.
Arizona Diamondbacks vs San Diego Padres

Another team that is absolutely on fire right now is the Arizona Diamondbacks. Their playoffs hopes looked bleak at the beginning of the week but they have made up 5.5 games on the Philadelphia Phillies. Arizona has won 6 straight games and thanks to the Phillies losing 5 of 7, the D-backs sit only 1 game out of the final National League Wild Card spot, with 2 to play.During their win streak, Arizona has cleared this total in every game, averaging 8 runs per game. They have hung double digits in 2 straight, including an 11 spot in the series opener last night.
The Diamondbacks face right hander Walker Buehler in game 2. Walker owns a 4.1o home ERA on the season, with a 1.22 WHIP. Arizona avaerage 4.3 runs per 9 against righties on the road. San Diego's pitching staff is solid but getting a team total of 3.5 at an affordable price is too tempting to overlook, especially with the way this lineup is hitting right now.

Best Bet: Gabriel Moreno Over 1.5 Total Bases +150 Lucky Rebel
Arizona catcher Gabriel Moreno is having a breakout season. He is hitting .311 with 16 home runs and 82 runs batted in. He's been especially hot in September where he's hitting .346 with 5 home runs and 15 runs batted in. Against with handers he hitting .323 with an ISO of .182. Finally, he's cleared this mark in 5 straight games, totaling 13 bases and he is 3/5 lifetime against Buehler, with a double. Gabe should stay hot tonight.
Best Bet: Nolan Arenado Over 1.5 Total Bases +195 Lucky Rebel
Arizona third baseman Nolan Arenado is hitting .254 on the season with 30 home runs and 85 runs batted in. He's turned back the clock to his younger years during the month of September, however. Nolan is hitting .351 this month with 9 home runs and 20 runs batted in. He has recorded a hit in 16 of his last 18 games, registering 2+ bases in 12 of those games. He is only 7/38 vs Buehler but he has 4 extra base hits against him. This price is too good to pass up, I like Arenado to stay hot tonight.
