Next weekend Tampa Bay Downs will run their Derby Prep, the Sam F. Davis. This weekend a pair of stakes highlight the card with the Tampa Bay and Endeavor Stakes.

Saturday Stakes Analysis

Tampa Bay Downs Race 6

Post: 2:42 PM ET; Purse: $175,000 Endeavour S., 1 1/16 Miles on Turf; Entries: 10

LADY SPEIGHTSPEARE enters as the favorite in the Endeavor at Tampa Bay Downs

#3 LADY SPEIGHTSPEARE (3-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's class & power rating. Even though the Tampa turf can be unpredictable, this one seems like the right choice.
#5 KATAMA MOONLIGHT (12-1) if the turf course lives up to its usual topsy turvy reputation, catching 12-1 on the horse with the best speed & race flow is well worth the risk.
#4 STUNNING PRINCESS (8-1) has class similar to the top selection, but falls behind in other categories.
#7 IN ITALIAN (9-2) has the best in the money percentage at the distance and should at least be a player in this spot.
