Penn National runs a twilight racing program. Along with races on Wednesday and Thursday night, they will run a 6 stakes race card on Friday.

Friday Full Card Analysis

Penn National Race Course Race 1

Post: 5:00 PM ET; Purse: $13,100 Claiming, 6 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 6

#3 EQUAL JUSTICE (4-1) should be competitive today based on the horse's speed & early pace.
#5 KUDURO (2-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's stamina & recent form lines.
#6 BIGMANCAN (9-5) should be competitive based on the overall power rating which has it tops in the group.
#2 BLUEGRASS POSSE (10-1) is a long shot who could be a player for some of the underneath spots in vertical wagers.

Penn National Race Course Race 2

Post: 5:30 PM ET; Purse: $31,600 Allowance, 6 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 6

#1 NICE WEATHER (9-5) is a major player in today's race edging the field in several key handicapping factors including speed & early run.
#3 MACHO SMOKE (2-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's connections & power rating.
#2 ECLIPTICALS ELLIOT (7-2) comes into the race signaling a big performance in the near future.
#6 SASSY LAD (8-1) looks like the type who could out run the odds in this spot. It may not be enough to win, but it could be enough to hit the board.

Penn National Race Course Race 3

Post: 6:00 PM ET; Purse: $100,000 Lyphard S., 1 1/16 Miles on Turf; Entries: 8

#4 FUNWHILEITLASTED (5-2) is worth a look here given edges in record at the distance. The pace of this race may set up perfectly to this runner's liking.
#3 LOVE IN THE AIR (2-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's class & power rating. The class is an especially potent angle on the turf.
#5 WITCH (6-1) is a fringe player who has races that can be on par with some of these.
#7 NINETYPERCENTBRYNN (8-1) has some of the top speed figures in the group. This one will likely be forward early and all hope rests on this runner's ability to hold on in the late stages.

Penn National Race Course Race 4

Post: 6:35 PM ET; Purse: $100,000 With Anticipation S., 1 1/16 Miles on Turf; Entries: 9

#1 YOU MUST CHILL (2-1) comes into this spot in top form. This one also has the top turf speed figures which makes him a serious player.
#5 BUY LAND AND SEE (9-5) has run against some tough foes and should appreciate the lesser quality of this group. Speed figures also suggest this one could take a big step forward against these.
#4 WAIT FOR IT (5-1) is a fringe player who feels like a clunk up for 2nd or 3rd type.
#7 PAPAL LAW (15-1) is a massive price. I would look for this one to set the pace and hope he doesn't completely stop in the lane. If this one keeps on, it could pop in the number at nice price.

Post: 7:10 PM ET; Purse: $150,000 Penn Oaks, 1 Mile on Turf; Entries: 6

#4 HAUGHTY (4-5) looks really good against this group based on speed and power ratings. Given the short price, players will need to be all in on this runner or a hard play against.
#1 BELACQUA (5-1) may have a slight chance for an upset if the favorite doesn't bring the A game today.
#6 CUSTOMER LIST (5-2) really likes these turf miles and is likely to be a factor in the final tote dividends.
#5 ALITTLELOVEANDLUCK (8-1) could get a perfect pace scenario today. It may not be good enough for the winner's circle, but perhaps could get this one into the number.

Post: 7:45 PM ET; Purse: $400,000 Penn Mile S., 1 Mile on Turf; Entries: 8

#1 ANNAPOLIS (9-5) looks really good in the male version of this race. Based on his record at the distance, this one is a major factor.
#6 WITTY (12-1) will likely look to run for the front early and could surprise everyone at a price.
#8 FORT WASHINGTON (7-2) should be competitive based on the overall power rating which has it tops in the group.
#7 RED DANGER (5-2) is another major competitor in what looks to be a pretty open edition of this race.

Post: 8:15 PM ET; Purse: $100,000 Danzig S., 6 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 10

#9 UNCLE BUDDY (7-2) is a major player in today's race edging the field in several key handicapping factors including stamina & pace.
#6 NIMITZ CLASS (8-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's record at the distance & power rating.
#3 ALLEVARE (6-1) is worth a look here given the recent company this one has been running against.
#1 CENTER MID MADDIE (4-1) is another runner who classes up well with this field.

Penn National Race Course Race 8

Post: 8:45 PM ET; Purse: $100,000 New Start S., 6 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 6

#2 BAZINGA C (3-2) has a great shot in the race given the speed & pace numbers. This one may be too tough to track down.
#3 YOU LOOK COLD (9-5) should be competitive based on the overall power rating which has it tops in the group.
#5 GOLDEN TABBY (8-1) is a price and has shown an affinity for the 6 furlong trip. It may be a long shot, but the value is there.
#1 MOONBOOTS (15-1) has solid connections and from the rail may have to get involved early. Maybe this one can get brave and outrun the previous levels of performance at a sweet price.

Post: 9:12 PM ET; Purse: $10,000 Claiming, 1 Mile 70 Yards on Dirt; Entries: 6

#4 RIDGELYSREDHOT (5-1) is a major player in today's race edging the field in several key handicapping factors including speed & power rating. I like an upset here.
#3 ALLISON K (3-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's connections & form.
#2 TEACHER DRAMA (3.5-1) looks to have to have kept the best company in the previous starts.
#1 LANA (5-2) is favored and makes sense but there are others I prefer.

#1 GALILEE (2-1) is a major player in today's race edging the field in several key handicapping factors including speed & power rating.
#5 ECHOES OF DESTINY (3-1) is worth a look here given edges in connections & early pace.
#3 MOUNTAIN TIME (5-1) has a chance against these and is the best price of the logical players.
#2 KATZ ME AT NOON (5-2) is worth a look here given edges in record at the distance & form.

Selections: 1-5-3-2

Post: 10:05 PM ET; Purse: $18,000 Starter Optional Claiming, 6 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 6

#4 KHAKI JACK (2-1) has a great shot in the race given the speed & early pace figures.
#2 YANKEE EMPIRE (5-2) has been running against solid company which should serve him well here.
#3 PICKERING CIRCLE (5-1) is in with a great chance based on the horse's connections & race flow.
#1 SPOOKY ONE (6-1) is the next likeliest winner though 6-1 is as short as I'd be willing to take this one in that pool. 8-1 Feels a bit more accurate in all reality.
