<p>Andy Reid has announced we will not see starters in this matchup, despite them trotting out there for a bit last week. The opposite is true for Seattle. Sam Darnold didn&#8217;t take a snap last game, but he is set to start this one. Whether we see him for more than a couple drives is still up for debate, but regardless, we are going to see Seattle&#8217;s first team offense against the Chiefs entire defense.</p>

Partially because I don&#8217;t want to stay up late to watch (even if my team is playing), partially because we know the Seahawks will have their top guys out for a little bit. I do have faith in Gardner Minshew to move the ball, but not against a first team defense in the NFL.</p>
<p>He is still a back up for a reason.</p>

<h3>Chiefs vs. Seahawks NFL Prediction: Seahawks Win, Over 39.5</h3>

<p>Back the Seahawks in the first half. And then go to bed (or go out) at a reasonable hour. Gardner Minshew will start this game for Kansas City and see more time than he did last week, but it might not be more than a quarter. If that is the case they&#8217;ll turn the keys over to Bailey Zappe, who didn&#8217;t put up any points last week.</p>
<p>As for Seattle, we will get the first taste of Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba on the field at the same time. I think they are in for a big year, I am very high on Seattle overall, and I think they&#8217;ll be able to open the scoring early and often.</p>
<p>Once Drew Lock is back under center, we will just hope they&#8217;ve built a big enough cushion to hold onto until halftime. Get it, get out, and back the Seahawks in the first half tonight.</p>
