<p>Jacob deGrom has been lights out since his return from injury. He has given the Mets another weapon in the rotation for a team that has the 5th best team ERA in baseball.</p>
<p>deGrom has a 3-1 record in 5 starts this season, but in his one loss, he still pitched well and only allowed 5 hits and 3 runs. He has managed 5+ inning in each start during the regular season, and his ERA is just about as low as it gets at 2.15.</p>
<p>His last start on August 25th against Colorado was exceptional. He made it through 6 innings, only allowing 1 run and 3 hits. He also struck out 9 and only walked 1 batter.</p>
<p>He will have a tougher test tonight, as he will face the top offense in baseball. The Dodgers have every #1 spot except for home runs and stolen bases. However, they still rank in the Top 5 for home runs and Top 10 in stolen bases.</p>
<p>It could very well come down to the bullpen on Wednesday, as both pitchers are expected to go deep into the game. It may also come down to baserunners, and deGrom holds a strong edge in that category. His WHIP is 0.55, while Anderson’s is 1.02.</p>
