On Tuesday night, Phoenix (21-14) overcame a 12-point second-half deficit in a big win over Golden State (18-17) at the Chase Center. Tonight, the two teams will face off at PHX Arena, and both need a victory tonight with the chaos taking place below the comfortable spot the Minnesota Lynx have in the WNBA standings.

The loss ultimately told the tale for their season overall. The Mercury are 17-4 SU when scoring 80+ points and 4-10 SU when they haven’t, and they are 9-10 SU when they have given up 80+ points, including 2-8 in the last ten instances.
In this week’s previous Valkyries vs. Mercury matchup, Phoenix scored a rare win while allowing a lot of points because they allowed most of those points in the first half.
