<h2>Valkyries vs. Aces Prediction and Picks</h2>
<p>It has been a disappointing season for the Aces, who are under threat of missing the playoffs for the first time since 2018, the franchise’s first season after moving from San Antonio to Las Vegas. And prior to yesterday, they had lost four games by 20+ points, including a 31-point loss at Minnesota on July 25.</p>
<p>But yesterday was the lowest of low points, as they suffered the biggest home loss in WNBA history, outpacing the Mystics’ 110-65 loss to the Houston Comets on August 17, 1998.</p>
<p>Ultimately, it is only one game in a 44-game regular season. But how will they respond in a back-to-back after suffering such a loss?</p>
<p>While yesterday was almost as ugly as it could possibly be, the Aces have won five of their last eight games, a stretch that started with a 104-102 win over the Valkyries on July 12. And consecutive home losses have not been a frequent occurrence for the Aces in recent years, so you should feel positive that they will at least respond with a win. Also, these are professional athletes who take a lot of pride in their performances, and a performance like yesterday is sure to not sit well with a team with this pedigree.</p>

<li>On June 7, the Aces lost 95-68 at Golden State. They lost 97-89 at home to the Sparks in their next game four days later, their lone loss in this instance this season.</li>
<li>After 81-54 loss at Indiana on July 3, the Aces won 86-68 at Connecticut three days later.</li>
<li>Their recent 31-point loss at Minnesota was followed by a 26-point win at Dallas two days later.</li>
