While we are all very excited the NBA is back after it's week absence for the All-Star break, it is important to remember that these games may not go exactly how you might normally think.
That said, we should have a fun matchup tonight in Los Angeles between the defending champs and the NBA champs from 2020.
The All-Star break saw the Lakers shake up their line up even more, trading Russell Westbrook inner city rival Clippers and moving on from Patrick Beverly, shipping him to Chicago.
In came D'Angelo Russell from the Timberwolves and Malik Beasley from the Jazz to shake up the line up and help the Lakers make a playoff push in the back third of the season.
The Warriors, on the other hand, are still without Superstar Steph Curry and will be for at least another week.
So it remains the Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson show for the Warriors and tonight, it might be too tough a task.
Both of these teams just played before the All-Star break, and while the game was a 5 point win by the Lakers, it didn't climb over 212 points.
LeBron James sat out of that game, which is a huge factor for this Lakers' offense.
The Warriors have gone over the Game Total in 4 of their last 5 before the break and the Lakers should be able to put up another 120+ performance tonight with the King back and dominating.
