Lambo was one of the most accurate kickers last season, connecting on 97.1% of all field goals attempted. What is even more impressive is that Lambo proved time and time again last season that he not only had a big leg, but he had an accurate one. Lambo was a perfect 4 for 4 on field goals further than 50-yards. With a Jacksonville Jaguars offense that will struggle to score touchdowns, look for Lambo to have plenty of field goal opportunities this year.

9. Joey Slye, Carolina Panthers (Bye Week: 13)

Joey Slye has arguably the strongest boot in all of football. The second-year kicker out of Virginia Tech is built like a middle linebacker, and connected on an impressive 8 out 11 field goals from 50+ yards, including a career long 55 yarder. However, the downside with Slye is that he tended to miss the easy ones throughout the year. His 78.1 field goal percentage is nothing to boast about, while missing four PAT’s throughout the 2019-20 season. Look for him to clean up the short to mid-range field goals as the Carolina offense is built to score a lot of points this year.

8. Matt Prater, Detroit Lions (Bye Week: 5)

The 14-year veteran is as stable as they come, which is part of the reason why he has established himself as a top-ten kicker year in and year out during his tenure in the NFL. Last season Prater scored 113 points and proved to the rest of the league he still had a strong leg by connecting with 7-8 field goals from 50+ yards. Another dimension Prater adds is that he is nearly automatic on PATs. Last season Prater was just shy of perfection, by hitting 35-36 on extra points.

7. Zane Gonzalez, Arizona Cardinals (Bye Week: 8)

In his first three seasons in the league, Gonzalez struggled to find his footing after being released by the Cleveland Browns, before eventually bein picked up by the Cardinals. However, Gonzalez posted a bounce back year in 2019, by nailing 31-34 field goals for the Cardinals. Gonzalez scored 127 points, partly due to the high-powered Arizona offense that will only be stronger this season. Gonzalez has a lot of upside due to his offensive minded head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who loves nothing more than putting points up on the board.

6. Ryan Succop, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Bye Week: 13)

After a down two years in the league, the 12-year veteran won the starting job in Tampa over incumbent kicker Matt Gay. Succop has been a solid kicker for many years with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans, and looks to reestablish himself as one of the top kickers in the league in 2020. Part of the reason why Succop is listed here at number six is because of the Tom Brady, Bruce Arians led offense that has many weapons on the outside this year to light up the scoreboard. Look for Succop to contribute to this offensive explosion.

5. Will Lutz, New Orleans Saints (Bye Week: 6)

Going into his fifth-year career with the New Orleans Saints, Lutz has consistently been in the top five in the league in total points averaging 138 per season. Lutz was perfect last season from 40 yards and in, connecting on 16-16 attempts. However, that does not mean he can’t excel from long range. Last year, Lutz was 16-20 from 40+, making him one of the most accurate kickers in all of football.

4. Robbie Gould, San Francisco 49ers (Bye Week: 11)

The long time Chicago Bear had a down season for the 49ers in 2019, at least according to his standards. In 2017 and 2018, Gould amassed an impressive 95.1 and 97.1 field goal percentage, while that number dipped down to 74.2 in 2019. Heading into his 16th season, I have all the confidence that Gould will bounce back and succeed under a Kyle Shannahan-led offense that is looking to head back to the Super Bowl.

3. Greg Zuerlein, Dallas Cowboys (Bye Week: 10)

Former Los Angeles Ram Greg “The Leg” Zuerlien joined the Cowboys in the off-season after a disappointing 2019 campaign. Until last year, Zuerlien had undoubtedly been a top three kicker in the league since being drafted by the Rams in 2012. Zeurlien’s famed nickname comes from the fact that he has netted some of the farthest field goals in the modern era (60, 61). Zuerlien is always a safe bet in fantasy as he is not only consistent but has the leg and accuracy from 50+ yards.

2. Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs (Bye Week: 10)

Harrison Butker, a vital part of the 2019-20 Super Bowl winning Chiefs, will pick up right where he left off last season. Heading into his fourth year with the Chiefs, Butker was a perfect 13-13 on field goals between 40-49 yards. The value with Butker is that the Chiefs offense scores a lot of touchdowns, which means he will be attempting a surplus of extra points this season. Last year, Butker nailed 45 extra-point kicks and finished with a total of 147 points on the season.

1. Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens (Bye Week: 8)

One of the best kickers the NFL has ever seen, Justin Tucker has shown no signs of slowing down. During his nine-year career, Tucker has been the most accurate kicker in the entire NFL. Tucker has flashed a 90.1 field goal success rate percentage across that time span. Like Butker with the Chiefs, the Ravens offense is a well-oiled machine that is likely to score a lot of points. Last season, Tucker was successful on 57 extra points, while finishing the season with 141 total points scored. If you need a kicker in fantasy that will contribute to your lineup every week, Tucker is a difference maker that you can ride to the top of the standings.
