<p>Jayden Maiava has resigned with USC. Yes, that is a real sentence in college football. He will play as he prepares for next season, but he may be missing tons of offensive help. The 9-3 Trojans only lost to Illinois, Notre Dame and Oregon this season, all of whom were ranked at the time. But tonight the Trojans are missing their top three pass catchers. Wide outs Makai Lemon and Ja&#8217;Kobi Lane have opted out of this game, as well as Tight End Lake McRee.</p>
<p>Those three combined for over 60% of the team&#8217;s catches, nearly 66% of their receiving yards, and 76% of their touchdowns through the air. Will the Trojans be able to make up all that production?</p>
<p>For the Horned Frogs, Josh Hoover has hit the portal, and Ken Seals will likely be at the head of this offensive unit. He threw just six passes all year long with an interception. But these defenses are pitiful.</p>

<h3>USC vs. TCU Prediction: USC Wins and Covers, Over 57</h3>

<p>USC was just 6-6 to the over, going 2-5 in their last seven games. TCU was also 6-6 to the over, going 2-3 down the stretch. But I trust the offenses tonight.</p>
<p>We are going to see if Seals can sling the pill like Hoover in this air raid offense of the Horned Frogs. Defensively, TCU is outside the top 60 in points and yards allowed, while USC is top 12 in both stats offensively. But defensively, the Trojans gave up 31 points to Michigan State, 34 to Illinois and Notre Dame, and 42 to Oregon. Even with a backup quarterback, the Horned Frogs will be able to do their part.</p>
<p>As for the Trojans, even without their top three receiving options, Jayden Maiava is certainly an early Heisman candidate for next season, and this game could certainly put him on the map if he plays well with a bunch of backups and third stringers. I certainly lean with USC to cover, given the TCU defense isn&#8217;t that good, but I do see both offenses going back and forth as this turns into a shootout in the  Lone Star State tonight.</p>
