Ole Miss has steamrolled their way to a 6-0 start, but with the Bulldogs already suffering a loss, beating them at home will be an even taller task. <p>Ole Miss has been perfect, but halfway through the season, the question remains&#8230; who have they actually played? Wins over Georgia State, Kentucky and Tulane don&#8217;t move the needle for me. They squeaked by Arkansas and Washington State last week, perhaps looking ahead to this game. Sure, they beat the No. 4 LSU Tigers at home, but Brian Kelly&#8217;s team might not be as good as we once thought. With this being the Rebels first real road test (sorry, Kentucky), things could get ugly.</p>
<p>Georgia already lost their one SEC game of the year to Alabama, so they know they have to be perfect from here on out. They do have conference wins at Tennessee, vs. Kentucky and at Auburn as well, but were 0-4 against the spread this season before covering in their last two. Surely, Kirby Smart will have his team ready to go on Saturday at home.</p>

<p>The Rebels best bet is turning this game into a shootout. They have the offense to outscore the Dawgs, but doing so against Georgia&#8217;s defense on the road will be tough. On the flip side, Georgia has struggled defensively early in big games, but this weekend would be the perfect time to regroup, and start off strong.</p>
<p>This does feel like it will at least stay within a touchdown to me, but just the hook isn&#8217;t enough for me to take the Rebels.</p>

<h3>Ole Miss vs. Georgia Prediction: Georgia Wins, Ole Miss Covers, Under 57</h3>

<p>I would&#8217;ve preferred 28.5, but I don&#8217;t think we are going to get this hook. In this big SEC showdown, look for defenses to come alive and take over the contest. We took this bet in the Georgia vs. Auburn game last weekend, cashing with ease, let&#8217;s see if we can do it again.</p>
<p>Georgia allowed 21 first half points to Tennessee (all in the first quarter), 24 to Alabama, but just 10 to Auburn. Yes, Ole Miss&#8217; offense is on the same tier as the Vols and Tide rather than the Tigers, but at Sanford Stadium, this Dawgs defense knows they need to start strong. Plus, Ole Miss could be looking ahead (again) to Norman next weekend. Regardless, I don&#8217;t know if Lane Kiffin is going to be too aggressive early, because digging himself out of an early hole on the road sounds like a nightmare.</p>
<p>I trust the Bulldogs&#8217; defense to keep this game low scoring early, while their offense focuses on pounding the ground to chew as much clock as they can. It&#8217;s tough for Trinidad Chambliss and the Rebels&#8217; offense to score if they are on the sideline without the ball. The Dawgs have quite the rushing attack, while Ole Miss is bottom 40 in yards allowed per rush, giving up 4.8 per carry. On the flip side, the Rebels&#8217; secondary is top 10 in opponent completion percentage and yards per pass.</p>
<p>Give me the hosts to move the ball slowly but surely on the ground, milking the clock as they put together long, demoralizing drives to take down Ole Miss.</p>
