The MLB is back today with games across the entire league! We’re here to bring you our best bets in tonight’s games!
Here is how we did on the Diamond last season.

Now as last year was my first year seriously capping MLB, those were all 0.5u bets. This year, since we saw a bit of success, we will be betting everything MLB this year for a 1u flat bet, meaning I will risk 1u no matter the juice.

Once again, we are backing the hottest team in baseball in the Philadelphia Phillies. Now, their ML straight is priced at -119 thanks to our friends at BetOnline, and to be honest, that is a fantastic price. But of course, I’m getting a little greedy and adding Nick Castellanos to get a hit for a little extra juice.
Castellanos has a hit in 50% of games this season and hits in the same percentage of games at Citizens Bank Park. He is currently on a 3 game hitting streak, totaling 4 hits in his L3 games, and he does incredibly well against the Blue Jays and Jose Berrios. Against Berrios in his career, Castellanos is 7/19 batting .368 with 6 singles and a home run for 6 total RBIs. Now, he’s also struck out 6 times, but he does well against Toronto.
Castellanos has a hit in 5 of his L6 against the Blue Jays, totaling 7 hits in his L4 games against Toronto, including 5 total hits in his L2 against the Blue Jays at home. I trust Castellanos to get us a hit, and you don’t need much of a sell job on the Phillies.
They have won 6 straight, 10 of their L11, and 17 of their L20. I have no problem backing them once again. The Blue Jays bat just .226 this season and .212 on the road. Give me the Phillies once again.

Baltimore Orioles vs Washington Nationals Best Bets
Can the Orioles defeat the Nationals in Washington tonight?
Pitching Matchup
- Baltimore Orioles: Corbin Brunes (3-1, 2.61 ERA)
- Washington Nationals: Trevor Williams (3-0, 2.27 ERA)
Best Bet: Orioles -1.5/O’Hearn Hit (+117) BetOnline
The Orioles are 11-4 on the road this season, they’ve won 4 straight games, and 6 of their L7. Baltimore is hot, and I’ll back them tonight on the road with Corbin Burnes on the bump.
Now, in their last two series, the Orioles are outscoring their opponents 29-8, and I don’t see the Nationals being able to produce many runs. They have a -10 run differential and are just 6-9 at home this season. Washington has won 7 of their L10 games, however I think the Orioles will have the fire power to get the job done.
Let’s talk about Mr. O’Hearn.
He has a hit in 74% of games this season and 78% on the road. he is currently on a 6 game hitting streak, with 2 multi-hit games in that stretch. O’Hearn hasn’t seen Williams in his career, but his .307 batting average this season jumps to .329 against RHP. Williams allows RHB to hit .167, while lefties hit closer to .286.
I’ve got faith in O’Hearn to keep his hitting streak alive, and the Orioles to cover the run line. Throw them both together for a little bit of plus money

Phillies ML/Castellanos Hit (+139)
Once again we are backing the red hot Phillies at home. They have won 6 straight, 10 of their L11, and 17 of their L20. Castellanos hits .368 against Berrios, and is on a 3 game hitting streak of his own. The Phillies ML is reasonably priced enough, but I’ll add Castellanos for a hit for a little more juice.
Orioles -1.5/O’Hearn Hit (+117)
The Orioles should handle business against the Nationals and Trevor Williams. The Orioles have outscored their opponents 29-8 in their L7 games, going 6-1 in that stretch. O’Hearn is on a 6 game hitting streak, and his average jumps from .307 to .329 against RHP. Give me O’Hearn for a hit and the Orioles to cover.
